2024 Genesis G70 3.3T Sport Prestige RWD
Twin Turbo V6, 0-60 4.5 seconds, top speed 167+MPH.
Was still baffled by lack of recognizable brand name
So googled 'Genesis Car' and it brought up the local dealer with all branding just saying "Genesis"... with no reference to any other brand.... hmm
So I was left thinking... WTF, it's a new a major car brand and I've never heard of, that's just started? 🤔
Or, more likely... it's made by Infiniti/ Nissan, since they make cars called a G-37, G-25!
So I googled 'who really makes Genesis brand' - It's Hyundai!
Made more confusing was that Infinity makes the G line already! Clearly I missed the memo on this brand.
Anyway, mystery solved. Looks like a fun car - congrats!

Yup - I know the Japanese ones, they’ve been out for decades!
But Hadn’t heard Hyundai was now doing it. 👍
Interesting aside: in Japan all the Infiniti, Lexus and Acura models don’t exist, those models are just branded with ‘Nissan Toyota or Honda’ respectively. The Japanese don’t need alternate names, since they already considered those brands as the best 😮
