I like 3 o'clock dates. In fact, I think a well done 3 o'clock is nicer than a well done 6 o'clock date.

Triple whammy this week:

First, a row of tools:

I was messing around with taking a photo through a loupe and got this cool distorted row of lights effect:

Congrats to @HorologyHype, I love how dynamic that shot is! And thank you to @Deeperblue for hosting and @Whitesalmon for judging too! Pleasantly surprised to see I won, there were a lot of really nice shots last week 😅

Looks great!

How do you feel about the weight? Part of why I like my 5600 is how light it is on wrist, and I always feel like the full metal versions would be a bit too chunky for me.

This watch my Dad received for attending a conference. It's numbered 328 on the case back (out of how many it doesn't say). Surprisingly, the automatic movement is still running fine without a service after more than two decades. It's not particularly well finished, and the size of the crown makes it a real chore to operate, but I think it's quite charming nonetheless.

My Dad has no real interest in watches though, so he just wears a Steeldive 1970 that I gifted him and I keep tabs on this one😅
