This week @ShonSnow is our guest theme decider and has chosen: "Harmonious Hues" The task is to create photos where the overall color scheme blends seamlessly with the watch color. For example, if the watch's dial is red, the entire photo could feature warm tones such as red, orange, and yellow to create a harmonious and visually appealing composition.
Post your photos as a reply comment on this post please. Runners up will be mentioned in next Fridays post.

The honor is all mine. I appreciate your participation big dawg
Let me just say that this was incredibly hard. Everyone had fantastic photos. I liked them all. Sadly, though, I had to start whittling. It took me quite a while just to get it down to ten! At ten, the very lengthy and tedious process of elimination to cut seven began.
Because it was so difficult, I wanted to acknowledge the seven, from the top ten, that I had to cut.

Again, great photos, everyone who participated! This most certainly wasnโt easy!
P.S. At one point, I had to call in reinforcements to help choose - the wife. Itโs totally fair, though, because our vows said weโve become one flesh, one blood. ๐
@Kalsota thanks ๐๐ป Josh. Much appreciated, thanks for everything you do!
Congratulations to the well deserved winners! There are obviously some creative and talented people on WC.
Will put some of my shots here, looking forward to shooting more this coming week!

I have some for this week!
I went with minimal editing for these. Some no edits at all... Everything was captured with my Google PIXEL 7 PRO ๐ธ๐คณ๐ผ
Thatโs a beautiful chessboard!
Ok here goes nothing:
Three photos taken with my iPhone (even Iโm impressed with what one can do with proper lighting). The kaleidoscope photo was also taken with my iPhone looking through an actual kaleidoscope, and for these photos, displayed on my iPad as a background. Iโve also included a โbehind the scenes โ look at my equipment to see the setup.

It took me only 5 mins to realize soon after joining WC that there are professional and serious-hobby photographers on this platform taking macro pics with cameras worth more money than the watch their taking a photo of. Ive given up early on and iphone image shakily with reckless unfiltered and unaltered abandon.
As others said, don't give up. If you put some effort to it, you can actually take a great photo with nearly everything. Most of us have smartphones nowadays and that's actually all you need. For a person who knows what they're doing, they could very well take a photo with a potato and it can still be nice. Professional camera is just a shortcut to a good photo, but even then, people who don't know what they're doing will make a bad photo with it. Quick google search gave me tons of results on how to make better photos of a watch with your phone. Good luck!
