I anticipate more action in the club over then next month (or 6), so a special hello to all our new participants.
Last week @Porthole set us the task of 'Obsolescence' themed photography.

Notes for Newcomers:
If you are new to this thread and enjoy photography then feel free to post your pictures! We run a fresh photography thread each week, starting on the Sunday, and have a guest judge set the theme and pick winners each week. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you wish with a connection to that weeks theme. The runners up will be mentioned in the following weeks thread and the winner gets a mention and their winning photo in the weekly newsletter.
Winners also get an exclusive 'Winners Badge' for their WC profile!
If anyone wants adding to the tagging list, DM me to let me know👍You certainly don't need to be on the list to post in the thread, it just helps people see the weekly post when its put up.

It's about as friendly as a group greeting can get. As a South Carolina boy living in Indiana, I get odd looks for my y'alls all the time.

Ok… ok… I totally forgot I’m a judge for this week… sorry I was trying to get my beauty rest… so for the theme… let’s go with off course … “Watermelon”!! Since summer time is upon us (in the US) and sweet smell and vibrant colors of summer why not welcome the season with nice photos with our watches!!

No watermelon has come my way in the last few days. 😂
So I decided to make a photo about Magali (or Maggy) while wearing my Seiko SRPH85.
Maggy is a character from "Turma da Mônica" or Monica's Gang (a very famous and widely read Brazilian comic) well known by loving to eat watermelon.
I hope it's valid for the "WatchCrunch Photograph Club" and the "One Watch Challenge". At least the watermelon theme brought back that childhood memory. 😊

Just like seedless grapes, they are genetically modified. There is no escaping GMOs these days. All the corn and a lot of the rice that you see in supermarkets is GMO.
