I don't have many rain photos saved despite it being like this the last several weeks in New England...

Ah, rain, I know what that is I think, we see that a couple times a year here in drought ridden California. Probs won't see it again until January maybe February.

Gonna have to fake it i guess.

I know what y’all think of Seattle but we are an arid climate in the summer (typically less than 1” of cumulative summer precipitation). Seriously, our lawns go dormant by mid-June. Sooo here I am, faking it.

This is the first time I’ve tried the water on glass trick and I think it came out relatively ok. Next time I’d probably use an eye dropper instead of flicking water on the glass to get some nice thicc drops and I’d like to figure out how to better illuminate the water (more backlighting? More backlighting using gels for color differentiation? I’m a landscape photographer, I have no idea how to properly manipulate artificial light!)

Edit: Hot damn it rained today! First time in a month. Here is a new shot with my guy chilling in our soft backyard Japanese maple.

Traveling on a rainy day

Vancouver BC : It’s dark and POURING today. It’s even cold again, but I feel Ok.

Rain is hammering is on the roof and the world outside is gray, but for me it’s beautiful and I appreciate the weather today.

Ok, poetry over. I went for a long walk in the rain today. Got soaked, but I enjoy our green city when it’s quiet, wet, and free of crowds.

Brought several brave watches on the wandering photo shoot: here’s some of the better pics

got lucky and found some raspberries and blackberries while wandering about, so they became subject matter and sustenance

Towards the end, both me and watches were soaked and cold - kudos the brave no WR Kurono for sticking it out 😉

Good Morning Watch Friends ✨

So a little update on the #watchjourney2023 my travel Casio, it’s currently on its way to @SpecKTator after spending a week or so with @chunky in Canada, and there is PLENTY OF LIFE LEFT IN THE OLD DOG YET as we have @Okavango @UnholiestJedi @solidyetti @Mr.Santana @ayadai @DAF_punk @DeeperRed and then finally @Barkovitch unless anyone else steps forward for a detour over the next few months, the little Casio will have met 12 new people including @Stracerwatches23 and @TyrogScot it’s been a very good first project for me, some exciting places and people, bringing the watch community together and hopefully more of the same to come.
