So, for the last year, I have greatly, greatly enjoyed my WC handle, chosen for me by @Deeperblue , as she won last year’s “Changing my WC handle for charity” auction:

She won naming rights for 12 months, and thus I became HotWatchChick69. And lo and behold, a full year has now since passed!  This thread shall mark my second official handle change.  Whosoever wins this charitable auction, in addition to the amazing Nodus Duality pictured here…

... shall also have the right and privilege to dictate my user handle here on WatchCrunch, which I will absolutely continue to use for the next 12 months!  @WatchCrunch, how offensive can the name be and still be acceptable?  We need some official adjudication here!

The watch is in great condition, but keep in mind that it has served as an exhibition watch from Nodus themselves.  I bought this watch from @Wes_nodus, when he and his co-founder came to the recent SoCal meetup at my place...

They kept saying, “No, no, you can’t buy this one.  It’s a display model, and it’s used.”  And I was like, “Go f*ck yourselves.  I’m taking this one right now,” and put it on my wrist on the spot.  Not only does the watch naturally come in the WatchCrunch color scheme of black and green, the auction winner will also get an official WatchCrunch nato strap!

The first 21 auctions worked out spectacularly, in which our esteemed colleagues @Bessio @Robcollects @Ichibunz @Deeperblue @Edge168n @Jklotz @CliveC @laurik @tempus @Al_Ra_Ra @TimeJunkie @tuanvinh2000 @UtahExplorer @biglove @Whitesalmon @JapanExclusive @moemoe @lmchew @ckim4watches @ChronoGuy have helped to raise $26,408 for Kenyan families living under the global poverty line of $1.90 / day.  All of the auction proceeds went directly to them, and the funds from the auctions thus far will effectively double the incomes of 73 families for a year!

• The highest bid by Friday, July 14, 12pm PT wins the auction

Here’s where we do some real good for charity:  If you are the winning bidder, please then Paypal or Venmo me the winning bid amount.  I will make the donation of your winning bid, plus get a match for that amount!  Thus, every $1 of the winning bid will get doubled!!!

Let me say that again - every $1 of the winning bid will turn into $2 donated to GiveDirectly!!!

I will then post the screen shot of the full donated amount!
