Bites: So excited! Where would you go?? What would you look at???

Firstly, I need to apologise to everyone not involved in the scavenger hunt. It has taken up a chunk of the WC feed these past few weeks, which I appreciate must be annoying if you're not interested in seeing a group of grown men do weird things in the name of charity.

Right, on to the main topic of business this week, which is the upcoming World Time UK event in London this weekend!

There are a whole bunch of microbrands there that I'd struggle to see in the metal anywhere else, so come let me know who you'd be looking forward to seeing!

World Time UK London

We've been planning the WC meetup at the World Time event for months and I'm so excited it's finally here!

I saw the updated list of all the brands that are going to be there on the day and it's scary how much temptation is going to be on offer.

These are the folks I'm most excited to talk to (in addition to my fellow Crunchers who will be there!) and the watches I'm keenest to handle...

I've never had the opportunity to see one of these in person but given their massive popularity on WC I am really looking forward to seeing those dials in person. I want to see what that texture looks like, what the colours are like in person and how they will sit on my tiny wrist.

Clemence Watches

A small British microbrand from founder Tom Clemence, who is part of our WC community. These watches have always looked amazing in the pictures so I want to see if they live up to expectations in the metal. Their new orange hue dial is something I'm particularly excited to get my hands on.

Formex

Winner of this year's WC Microbrand of the Year contest, formex is absolutely raved about, but given it's price point I've never felt I could drop that kind of money on a watch I'd never tried on. There white dial Essence 39 looks the absolute business and white dials are my utter weakness, so I may be walking away with one of these on Saturday.

Tuseno

I have no idea how to properly pronounce this brand, so if anyone can help me out so I don't make a fool of myself, I'd appreciate it! Their Windseeker watch looks the absolute bomb, but it's one of those times when I'd need to see the colours in person. Although I love a white dial, I'm never so sure about silver, as the lack of contrast can result in a dial loosing it's details. Props to any brand that uses pirate treasure in it's promo photos though.
