An overview of the history of Khanjar dial watches, some of the variations available, and their current market value.
Happy Friday!
I wrote an article about Khanjar Dials this summer and I thought it would be good to share with the Crunch Community.

Great article, thank you for sharing! If I am not mistaken John Mayer, in his second episode of Talking Watches with Hodinkee, had a Khanjar dial Daytona, maybe a 6263? That was my first introduction that it was a highly desirable collectible. This was great additional background!

You might be right! I'll have to go back and watch the episode again. Thanks for reading and for your kind feedback!
Very interesting read thanks
Thanks for providing the background to these unique timepieces. In terms of visual appeal, to my untrained eye, I think the Khanjar insignia often makes the dial look unbalanced and even cheap looking. Shows how much I know.
Beautiful timepiece 😍
Great article Celine. I fully understand that this is a great way to stand out from the crowd in an ocean of Rolexes. But nothing that gets me going. I have no cultural attachment to the sultan and Oman.
