"Red Alert! All hands, battle stations. This is not a drill."
You're startled by the loud claxons and red strobe lights. Last thing you remember was that you were sitting on your couch settling in for the day and thumbing through a watch enthusiast app called WatchCrunch. You were looking at the latest post on Rolex and Watches and Wonders. You looked down at your watch and blinked and suddenly you're sitting alone in a well appointed room. It was familiar yet futuristic, like an Ikea showroom. Where are you? You stand up and start to explore your room but before you get too far, you're interrupted by a voice over the room speaker.
"Sir, you're needed on the Bridge". The Bridge? What bridge? Instinctively, you walk towards the door and as your step out into a long hallway, someone dressed in yellow and black bumps into you. They looked scared and in a hurry. "Sir, please come with me. You're needed on the Bridge." He seemed sincere so you follow him into an elevator. "Computer. Bridge." he says. The doors close and you feel the gentle push of force on your body as the elevator moves up. After a moment, you ask who he is and where you are. Before he could answer the elevator stops and the door opens and a sudden flash, you're in a room with a cacophony of sound, face-to-face with a tall man dressed in an ornate costume. You're not alone though, it seems that there are a few of people standing beside you, with the same befuddled look.
The man in the costume raises his hand and the crowd silences. "Welcome, to your future" he says "I am Q, perhaps you've heard of me. No? Well, consider me humanity's judge, jury, and sometimes executioner. You've been chosen to represent humanity, as you're all so fascinated by the concept of Time. Time. Time. You're so enamored with time keeping devices, wrist watches, well, it's Time to put them to good use. Are you ready?"
"Ready for what? What do you want?", you ask. The crowd erupts in laughter and with a piercing look, Q answers, "Oh, you'll find out". With a snap of his finger, you're back in the elevator, the doors open, and stepping out onto some sort of command center. Yes, The Bridge. Stepping out of separate elevators at the same time are the others you saw before, but all wearing different colored uniforms. You see a large viewscreen with some numbers 46.204391, 6.143158/ /52.520008, 13.404954// 35.652832, 139.839478 and all of you start walking to the center.

Take Command. You have the skills and experience to take control of the situation. Here are your instructions:
This game will starts today, 4/22, and is scheduled for 5 weeks. There will be 1-2 flash challenges per week, with strict deadlines. There will be community involvement, outside of just those participating.

Each team will have a Captain and crew, chosen by Q. Here are your teams:

Each crew member will take on a role for the duration of this Five-Week Mission.

Week 1 Challenge:
Captains - Your challenge starts by assembling your crew and doling out crew assignments. Your choices will have consequences later on. You need to designate a single First Officer throughout the next five weeks, to post pictures on your behalf in case you are unable to do so. Otherwise, all final pictures from your team are posted by you alone. You will tag me once all assigned pictures are compiled in one post/response, and are complete. Failure to do so will end your mission.
Pilot - Your challenge starts by submitting pictures of 3 Starfleet uniforms, red for Command/First Officer or Pilot, yellow/gold for Security/Engineering, and Blue for Science/Medical. I grew up with The Next Generation so you will have to live with those uniform colors. You will add the WatchCrunch handles of your crewmates to each assigned role to the uniforms. For example, if I was your Captain, you will create an outfit with a red top and black pants, and attach @SpecKTator to the uniform.
Security - Week 1 starts with you assembling the tools for your crew to defend themselves. Please do not post guns or knives. That will result in immediate mission failure. Toys or props are OK. You will assign 1 weapon to each member of your crew by showing their WatchCrunch handle in the pictures.
Science - Create enough communications badges/devices for each member of your crew. Each badge will have one of your crew's WatchCrunch handle and the WatchCrunch logo.
Medical - Your crew is experiencing time travel sickness. Create an elixir, using at least 3 ingredients and take a picture of the drink and ingredients. You will also assemble enough first aid kits for each crew, with each kit labeled with your crew's WatchCrunch handle and WatchCrunch logo.
Engineer - Build your ship and create a power source. The ship must be a physical model of a ship. It can not be created digitally using AI. Doing so will result in immediate mission failure. Post a picture of the ship and power source, with the name of your ship on the hull.
Astrometrics - Teams 1-3 have an extra crewmate so you will have an additional challenge. Astrometrics will help to orient you in the future. To start, you will post a picture recreating the constellation The Little Dipper, using watches.
The Week 1 Challenge starts today, 4/22 5pm Pacific Standard Time (UTC 0:00 4/23) and ends 4/27 5pm PST (UTC 0:00 4/28). I suggest you complete this challenge as soon as possible, as there will be Flash Challenges during the week, which will result in eliminations. Good Luck and Live Long and Prosper.

Remember -
All pictures must include a watch or watches.
Time will be kept using UTC and my time zone, PST (Los Angeles time).
Your Captain (or designated First Officer) will be the ones who post the final compiled pictures for your Team.
There will be only 1 winning team. No exceptions.
Q makes all rules, judgments, and final determinations. No exceptions. This is supposed to be fun.

I know it’s a niche feature, but I kinda wish Watch Crunch would let us do group messaging. It would make coordinating these scavengers hunts a lot easier.

Due to communications issues, previous crew member photos appeared garbled and distorted (almost as if they had been edited by the touch of some unknown interstellar being). Rest assured these signal issues won't persist:

Not only have our communications been resolved, Science Officer RelativeTime has been able to use the synchro regulator in our Spring Drive to boost our signal. The USS Novaform is an advanced Galaxy Glass CrunchFleet starship equipped with the latest "Turtle" space/time dilation sensor and a prototype "Spring Drive" propulsion core. This system hybridizes previous CrunchFleet mechanical and quartz dives which results in an accurate and smooth thrust output. Unfortunately until recently it also interfered with communications.

1- PILOT @Okavango : He was entrusted with assigning the uniforms and here is the evidence of his work. Unfortunately our Security Officer's uniform is found with what remains of his humanity in a Borg Cube.
2- SECURITY @Maverick5080 : After the Borg attack that blew up our weapons warehouse, we had to improvise new weapons with technologies that we had not yet explored, the prototypes of the weapons were delivered to the Officers to be tested on the battlefield . Our weapons are:
3- SCIENCE @solidyetti : After arduous research we came to the conclusion that the recommendation of our Scientific Officer is the most efficient. These communication devices cannot be intercepted by sophisticated enemy spy devices, they are very economical and very easy to replace.
4- MEDICAL (That's me!): I, as a Witch Doctor and Shaman, made an elixir that cures everything! The only thing it doesn't cure is the common cold, but that's why we have our grandmothers' and mothers' tea! First aid kits are not very efficient, but they are very delicious!
5- ENGINEERING @Powwow : Getting to have this model of the U.S.S. Double Red Dwarf was like putting together a puzzle! The engineering behind our warp drive is highly secret, so you will only be able to read a brief description from our Chief Engineer.
The saying goes, better late than never! We had many difficulties, a Borg attack and general diarrhea in the crew from eating Vulcan food, but we accomplished the mission!
