Your crews spent a few days on your impromptu away team missions collecting pieces of the artifact in hopes of finding a way home. The Geneva, Berlin, and Tokyo teams all reported back with “Mission Complete”.
While your pilot went to collect your wayward crew, the Science officer spent a little time looking into The Crunch, only to discover it was a dead end. Q’s cruel joke at your expense. At least he had a good meal since he hadn’t eaten much since you all met on the ship.
A few hours later, the entire crew reassembled and started working on the artifact. Your Engineer set up a makeshift workstation, and started assembling the pieces together. The artifact looked both ancient, but technologically advanced. It had a familiar shape, like something you’ve seen before, but distant like a in a dream. The final piece was placing the radioactive isotope into the artifact.
The artifact started glowing an emerald color and expanded to the size of a large doorway. It must be the way home, as Q promised.
You look at each of your crew, just like you did before on the ship, nodded to each other, and one-by-one, you entered the portal. As the portal closes, you see Q waiving at you from the other side. “See you again real soon”.

Teams - great job completing the main mission and 2 flash challenges. Hope you’ve had fun so far but Week 3 is guaranteed to be difficult, physically, mentally, and emotionally. You will be tested, and for some, it will be the end of your CrunchTrek. One team will be eliminated.

I am ready for Space and Stuff
I'm impressed everyone was able to find Dutch Crunch! There wasn't a single grocer or restaurant within 100 miles of anyone in the USS Novaform crew. It took me 3 hours to bake it! (hopefully a professionally made loaf doesn't taste like mine turned out though)
