CrunchTrek - Week 2 - Flash Challenge 1 - The Crunch

Your teams have been making great progress on collecting the artifacts to get you home. With some extra time on his hands, your Science Officer started looking into the mystery of The Crunch. The Crunch appears in many historical archives, and incidentally, has manifested in different forms throughout history. It’s even survived into the future. Investigate the Crunch, and solve the mystery.

True scavenger hunt time. Each team will take pictures of the following physical items:

  • Nestle Crunch Bar

  • Cap’n Crunch cereal

  • Dutch Crunch bread

  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal

  • Crunch Fitness gym

  • Crunchy Cheetos

  • Chili Crunch hot sauce

  • A crunched up aluminum can

  • Crunch n’ Munch Toffee popcorn

Remember - All pictures must include a watch or watches. Time will be kept using UTC and my time zone, PST (Los Angeles time).

For this Flash Challenge, any crew member can post photos and will tag their Captain or First Officer. The Captain or First Officer will tag me once your full team has completed their pictures. The pictures must be posted by 5pm PST 5/3 (UTC 0:00 5/4).

This is Flash Challenge 1 of 2 this week. Failure to complete both Week 2 Flash Challenges and the Week 2 mission will result in elimination.

Mine is over an hour from me. Hope the rest of USS Timegazer have better location proximity. I won’t be able to drive that far away until Saturday.

First Officer's Log - After searching for a crusty dutch bread in lands where people eat tortillas, we were able to get a local crusty bread, seasoned with sesame seeds, I hope Entity Q approves this task.

I have no idea what Dutch Crunch is or where to get it. A quick google search says it is a type of bread from San Francisco.

Yes. It’s delicious. When I lived in the Bay Area I would to g a place called Mr. Pickles all the time that made delicious sandwiches from Dutch Crunch. I haven’t seen it since I moved away. Lived in Chicago and Austin since then. Miss me some Dutch Crunch.
