Who are the folks here that you see as helping Watch Crunch be a vibrant and welcoming community?
So, I tried engaging on another forum and on social media . . Nope! Not Doing that again. Blocked, blocked, blocked.
Watch Crunch is one of the few places where I see the community making a pretty good effort at being civil and understanding. Actually trying to talk to people as we would in real life--with interest and respect and excitement about watches. And I guess that's the thing about the internet . . . sometimes the anonymity can really encourage jerks to be vocal and even bring out the inner jerk from normally decent individuals. No place is completely immune, but thankfully I've seen more good examples here than anywhere else. Let's hope that remains as this community grows.
So, with that said . . . I want to know who you think is doing a good job here of making you want to come back to these forums?

For one, yourself! I agree with you; WatchCrunch has thus far provided the kind of cheerful, friendly and all-embracing forum for watch enthusiasts that it intended to. That’s cause for rejoicing for all of us.
I’m a real believer in taking pleasure from not only one’s own joys but perhaps more importantly, in this context, the joy and excitement of others. It’s great to share the happiness another collector feels.
I see quite a few people making this a better community. I, like you have stop visiting other social media sites because it’s pretty toxic. I enjoy coming to Watch Crunch to talk watches and generally have fun.

Nope, the only way to stop drama is hit the block button. I got tossed from a watch forum I truly loved for feeding into it. Never again.

I have subscribed to around 200 people so I would be here all day like play school I can see Jimmy through the magic mirror and Jainy etc so pretty much all the people I have subscribed too, I enjoy their posts . Claude, Gareth Craig ,Paul ,Jae , Per are just a few I enjoy the back and forth with but by trying to name them all something or someone will be missed! Love this community basically:) Specially Kaysia and Max for all the hard work they do behind the app :)

My only experience has been on WC, and it has been nothing but light hearted and enjoyable. Are the other forums really that bad? I mean all I really do on this site is make a post about how great the Sinn 556 is every other week, and nobody has told me to shut up yet.

Well it is a great watch.
It’s a place for every watch lovers. It’s simple, clever and not mainstream with likes and click system. It’s a place where to share passion, history and make a deeper connection somehow!
I’ve only been here for 5 days and I just F**** loving it more everyday!
Unfortunately a clean spacious work space is the first step. When you’re ready I’m all ears to give you the best advice on how to move Forward on learning how to assemble your first watch.
