After collecting supplies, your group gathers together back at the AD to spend a few moments remembering those who have not made it through to the week. There is little time to rest however, as the Red Queen appears again on the TV screen.

"Congratulations to all of you who survived the tasks of week 1.

Through your efforts you have collected the components necessary to move to the next step in containing the outbreak.

The zombie virus was released due to a glitch in my computer code. This glitch has also locked me out of the secret laboratory control and communication systems, but thanks to your efforts you have collected the components needed to build a communication device and contact Dr. Aurelian, our chief scientist who remains trapped inside the underground facility beneath this mall."

Being the smart, resourceful bunch of folks you are, you quickly assemble a com link device from the components you found and pick up the distress call from Dr. Aurelian....

"Thank God you heard my messages! This place is infested with zombies and I'm trapped down here in the main research laboratory! The doors are locked and the security system needs to be overridden in order to get me out. You all need to get down here and help me.

Someone needs to go to the main control room to override the security systems and someone else needs to get down here to the laboratory door to input the code.

Hurry! I have the vaccine down here!"

Time to go underground. Be careful. It's dark down there.

Welcome to Scavenger Hunt Chapter 2 Part 1: The Rescue

This week you will be split into two groups.

Group 1 will be led by @Ichibunz and will clear a path through the zombies to the main laboratory where Dr. Aurelian is trapped.

Group 2 will be lead by @Whitesalmon and will head to the main control room in order to override the security systems so the door can be opened.

Group 1/Team @Ichibunz:

You must provide each of the following photographs AS A GROUP to complete this mission.

Your team is going to show us photographs of all the stereotypical members that make up your awesome zombie fighting squad. I want a different person to provide each picture this week. You don't have to show your face if you're shy. Be creative.

A photo of....

1. The Leader

2. The Medic

3. The Cool guy

4. The Weapons Expert

5. The Brawler

6. The Tech/hacker guy

7. The Science guy

8. The guy who dies first

9. Alice (The Resident Evil kind, not the wonderland kind)

10. A cool looking zombie fighting dog.

I expect good effort with these photos people. Poor attempts will be rejected.

Group 2/Team @Whitesalmon :

You must provide each of the following photographs AS A GROUP to complete this mission.

You guys are going to show us the journey to the control room. I want a different person to provide each picture this week.

1. In an elevator waiting for the doors to open, weapon at the ready.

2. Looking down a stair well with zombies coming up the stairs.

3. Two people hiding either side of a doorway with a zombie coming through the door.

4. You doing a cool commando roll.

5. You crawling through a tunnel

6. You doing monkey bars over zombies

7. Swiping a key card to open a door.

8. Climbing a ladder to get into the air conduits in the ceiling. DONE @Whitesalmon

9. Jimmying a door open with a crowbar DONE @casiodean

Once BOTH groups have completed ALL of their photos you will unlock Part 2 of this week.

BOTH PART ONE AND PART TWO OF THIS WEEK NEED TO BE COMPLETED BY 12PM GMT+1 SATURDAY 16th SEPT.

I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU COMPLETE PART ONE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE TO GIVE YOURSELVES TIME FOR PART 2.

(I have absolutely no idea how long Part 2 will take you as it's a Scav Hunt first. I would suggest you give yourself a couple of days at least. Your team leaders will be critical for part 2.)

If Parts 1 and 2 are not completed by the deadline then the Scavenger Hunt is over for everyone.

In addition to the items on your team list EVERY INDIVIDUAL SCAVENGER must post a picture of each of the following. If you do not post each one of these pictures by Saturday 16th 12pm GMT+1, then you are zombie food and out of the game.

For each one of these photographs contributed to this thread I will add £10 to the charity pot. (Only one £10 available per photo requested, so a maximum of £100 can be earned this round). If these photos are not submitted the game can still continue. You have until Saturday 16th 12pm GMT+1 to complete this list.

News flash everyone! Apparently we’ve all been doing it wrong. According to my friends 4 year old, we need hot sauce in our dens to survive the zombie apocalypse. If we soak ourselves with hot sauce, zombies won’t eat us because they don’t want to burn their mouths 😂😂. My new den equipped with weapons, water, a “guard dog”, a computer to stay connected to the red queen and hot sauce.

Please @DeeperRed don’t make us bath in hot sauce next week 😂

1- Here's me crawling out of my den. You should seen have how long it took me to get in there.

2- Here's my tattoo

3- My dog tag. I was wondering when someone would ask me to get one. I always thought it would be my wife. Do I need a license too! Where's the closest fire hydrant?

4- Security pad. Nothing special here.

5- Ok this one was a little hard. I'm 6'-3".

I'm so crammed in the cabinet and all you can see I my watch.

6- Cooking some vittles. A little Salmon going on the grill for the Crew.

7- Bandana easy enough. You need to put this on with to Right Said Fred "I'm to sexy for you body" playing in the back round for the right frame of mind.

8- a barricaded door. I'm not sure who's locked in or out.

Charity picture no 8

Swimming through a flooded tunnel.

Not exactly Olympic standard, but had to find a sump pump unblock it and get it started. Perfect for this challenge picture (stunk as well, if I'm not ill after this I'm immune) 15m down and freezing, a quest on its own.

My mate was no use (except for the photos) a he could do was laugh and shout words of encouragement "your totally nuts" and " go on Bobby only you are daft enough" so there you are body on the line (again) what fun!!!!😄 enjoy my commitment folks🤯 @DeeperRed
