What’s your brand?

I was looking in my watch box and noticed something I never have before…I don’t have repeating brands. I have 1 watch from one brand. I find this odd because of the brands that I’m attracted to and look at. Question is, if you had to describe yourself as a watch brand, what would you be?

#islander 5 (3 that go in daily rotation).

#direnzo 4 (all 4 in daily rotation), Direnzo is likely my “brand”.

·

I think I've become a Marathon guy. Just picked up my third, and have worn my GSAR like 90% of days since I bought it a year ago. I only have three brands: 3x Marathon, 1x Hamilton, and 3x G Shock.

·

I have 12 watches. 4 Omegas, 2 Seikos, 2 GShocks,2 Grand Seikos, 1 Breitling, 1-Laco. I guess I am a Omegko fanboy

·

Cheap

·

I would be a G Shock Square man. I have nine different G Shock Squares in my collection, more than any other brand.

·

Tough.

Have a Triptych from Lorier, Helm, and soon Nodus and/or Elliot Brown.

If you HAD to pigeon hole me in one...Lorier hands down.

Hmm… I would say it’s a toss up between Timex and Citizen. Both practical and logical designs (for the most part), not too expensive, and good variety! I actually have more Timexes than Citizens, but that comes down to case size for the chronographs, Citizen chronographs are often a bit too large for me.

·

Most of the Oris catalog resonates with me. If only their pointer dates could shed those hideous cathedral hands …

·

I am a serial repeat offender, >1 of each of the below 😮

Longines

Rolex

Tudor

Oris

Casio

Citizen

Omega

·

Used to be a g shock man but only have 1.

5 watches

2 citizen

1 Casio g shock

1 Bulova

1 Ratio

·

8 watches in my current rotation: 3 Henry Archer, 2 Islanders, 1 Baltic, 1 Spinnaker and 1 Tissot.

·

I'm 💯 an Oris guy who currently has no Oris in my collection. So what does that say about me?

Rolex: 1

Tudor 1

Omega 1

Seiko 3

Farer 1

Brew 1

Timex 2

Lilienthal Berlin 1

I try to have only one from each brand so I can experience what others offer. This is currently true for my collection, although Seiko is easy to have more than one.

·

"Hey there! I can relate to not having repeating brands. My first four watch purchases were all from the same brand. I thought I'd be a Tag Heuer fanboy forever! But since then, I've branched out with different brands, styles, and unique pieces. It doesn't matter if you have different brands or the same—it's about horology and how the watch makes you feel when wearing it."

Seiko

·

Mostly I have one watch per brand too. Only from Seiko I got 3 watches but I would not consider me as a Sekio Guy. Or maybe I am

And of course the Casios doesn‘t count 😂

·

In order of quantity (top 3)

Tudor

Omega

Longines

In order of how much I love my watches (again top 3)

Omega

Tudor

Atlantic

Actually, this is a very good question because as soon as I’ve seen it, I thought to comment “ no doubt #seiko ! “ And then I have realized that most of my Watch movements are SEIKO, yet not most of my watches are SEIKO. So i need to think about that.

SEIKO Is an outstanding brand always high on craftsmanship. it’s a brand that never lets you down. And this is what encourages me. I always purchase another watch that I like just because it has a SEIKO movement, and mostly the NH35.

I have a weakness for Omega (4 pieces)

Also,

1 x Rolex

1 x Tag Heuer

1 x Tudor

1 x Grand Seiko

·

Also got no repeating brands in my collection but gotta admint, GS design speaks to me. Love classic clean design and GS make these with perfect finishing.

·

I too have only one of each brand, something I tried to aim for.

If I was to only choose 1 brand I'd say I prefer more of the aesthetics of Seiko's although it's probably because they have such a wide range of styles and colours.

·

I’m a one watch per brand guy too! Not sure I can answer your question very well but the one that’s getting most wrist time right now is my Tudor, followed by gshock.

·

If I’m going to choose one brand it has to be Omega (vintage). I’m really fond of 50s and 60s Seamasters and Constellations.

·

I have a box for my regular rotation, and a box full of my old Seikos 😅

·

First time I saw a Tudor snowflake hand I almost felt sick. Now I would love to have every Tudor in the catalog!!

·

Seiko, orient, citizen, hamillton are my favorites

·

IWC, but it took me a while to appreciate the aesthetic codes of this brand.

·

Grand seiko, seiko, but the watch world is my oyster, where too next 🤔
