For watches of course...

Depends on the watch. I voted 39 thinking about 3 handers, but I'd go smaller for vintage and vintage-inspired and larger for pilot and modern subs.

·

Depends on the watch.

Dive bezel: 40mm for me

Regular 3 hander: 38mm for me

·

I agree a bezel vs. no bezel survey is needed. I voted based on no bezel.

There is no universal "perfect" size.

Perfect for one style isn't perfect for another.

Perfect for one individual isn't perfect for another.

Perfect for one case design isn't perfect for another.

Perfect for me is 32mm to 48 mm. Neither of which are even in the "poll"

·

Again, as usual, why is there no "All of the above" choice? Depending on the watch all of those could be perfect.

·

36

37.674757474 mm is my perfect size.

·

Anywhere between 36-42mm, depending on the watch.

40mm way in the lead! 😭

Contemporary watch sizes aren’t changing any time soon

·

For my wrist comfort and visual appearance to me it’s 39-42.

·

The correct answer is 36mm. Although 34 is acceptable.

37.674757474 mm is my perfect size.

I prefer the 37.674757477 but to each their own

There’s no perfect size for everyone.

What's the perfect shoe size....?

·

I wear a watch for me. This means that with a 20cm wrist the many cute little watches so many like look too small on my wrist. I'm also tall and broad(my motorcycle jacket is 60 across the chest) so little watches may be great looking and elegant but not for me. The trend towards traditional smaller sizes may be appreciated by many but my purchases will drop as a result. My wife loves the trend... 😐

My collection ranges from 38mm to 45mm, and I love them all. But I’m still intrigued by the question. Saying that there’s no perfect size, and “it depends on the watch”, seems to gloss over trends in watch design and enthusiasts’ preferences over the past couple of decades. Since I started collecting over 20 years ago, I’ve seen fashions shift: from smaller, dressier watches when I first started to get into watches to larger, sportier models. And I suspect we’re about to see a revolution back to smaller, dressier watches over the next 20 years. So if you accept that fashions and preferences about watch style and size can and do change, the question of “what is a perfect size” starts to become pretty fascinating.

I wear from 36 to 43mm but in this range I have preferred sizes and this poll is about those preferences

·

All those sizes are more than good on a 7 inch wrist, smaller size wrist smaller sized watch and lug to lug just as or if not more than important

·

38.5 to be precise

·

The perfect size is the size that the perfect watch is... Sorry for the tautology, but it's the only way I can answer! 🤣

·

46mm lug to lug

·

I think many would say 36mm!

·

There’s not a generic perfect size. It depends on your wrist size, your own size, watch style, design and even your age and gender.

·

Yes, all of those.

·

34mm is the correct answer for me. After collecting vintage watches, I don't think I'll buy a new watch ever again.

·

42mm maximum for a diver and 36-38mm for a regular watch

·

Depends, for a Field watch, like a Hamilton.... Something like 38 is perfect.

·

Depends?

Dial diameter doesn't tell the whole story!
