Who wants to see FXD bezels on normal bracelet Pelagos

Love them more than the standard Pelagos bezels but prefer bracelet.

Full titanium would be amazing

Definitely interesting but not sure if I’d go for a bracelet in this case and honestly don’t see it coming in the future. There is a reason why it is called fxd.

Personally I like the black one on the green/red NATO strap

·

That lumed bezel is actual fire.

·

I love the bezel. Luckily I prefer a NATO strap.

For me, part of the magic of the FXD is the strap integration and fixed lug design. Not sure how they’d run with a bracelet without compromising the fixed lug but I’d be curious to see.

The strap has come a long way since the initial MN, and the oem offering on the black is far more comfortable imo. You can see how the strap bends in my pic on the right, but the newer strap has more structure and supports it on the wrist perfectly.

My original strap for the MN22 is virtually unwearable. Even new, the Velcro would open if you bumped it wrong. Have heard it’s much better on the new ones. Also heard that you could send it and the watch head back to Tudor for an improved strap but my AD knew nothing about that.

Yeah it's much fuzzier than what comes on the black FXD. Would love to see a new version of the MN strap but I'm not aware of any changes. I also haven't handled any newer MN FXDs so not sure if it's still the same. Would love to hear from anyone that has received their MN within the past year if it's any better.

As far as the original question goes, yeah it would be really cool to see a fully graduated bezel on the standard Pelagos. No idea why they haven’t done that. Looks so much better 👍

·

I actually prefer the bezel of the normal Pelagos, but it would still be nice to have more options

·

I don’t understand why a the flash ship professional model has a less useful bezel than its special-edition-y sibling model

A lot of watch band manufacturers make quick-release versions for normal spring-bar watches. The old garmin fenix line in particular had screw-in (semi-"fixed") and very thick bars. The only straps you could use were these kind.

This example is even metal (though probably cheap ebay quality).

It is definitly possible, though if it would ever happen it would probably have to be an OEM solution... Sadly I don't see it happening for a likely low-volume and expensive-to-produce one-off design.

I did try and shoehorn a plastic/rubber version of this garmin quick release onto my FXD. I don't recommend, only got myself a scratch on the bottom of the lugs for my effort. :(
