the one that you want to have memories with … it will become more than a nice watch, it will remind you those moments each time you will look at it in the future
my top three are : “Andrew Morgan watches” (the talking hands), “The Urban Gentry” and “Brave Beaters” (best in cinematic/image quality category)
I know some people who “invest” in watches (Submariner, Speedmaster etc) , keeps them at the bank and buy chinese high quality fakes in order to “enjoy” the originals … I do not understand that, I want a watch that I can wear and enjoy without any concerns .
For me two tones watches, especially gold and silver, are the perfect definition of gaudy , that and thick gold chains … but then again - that might be my boring personality speaking, or maybe I am just jealous on other people confidence :)
my “new” vintage Eterna Kon-tiki does it all ! (however - I will have to check if the 100m resistance holds on before jumping in the sea :). It’s a monster strap - it could be my one watch collection
