Blue watches are the best watches. Change my mind

It is a fact that we cannot ignore any longer. Blue watches are the best watches.

Why? They go with nearly any situation.

Think about it. It's neither too dressy nor too casual. Business casual? Blue watches work great with a white button up. Just wear a T-shirt all day? Blue is perfect for casual wear. Have an important business meeting and you need to wear a nice watch? If you don't have a dress watch, just grab your blue one. It'll look fine. Like the look of a dress watch and don't want to look like a prick while wearing it daily? Get it in blue. Want to let everyone know your a prick? Tiffany blue. Need I say more?

Sure, white and silver are alright, but it's no blue. Black can make it hard to see the dial. Plus, if you like complications, the standard white background date window looks good with blue. Not so with black.

Blue is simply the best

cannot change your mind dude. blue is the second colour for dial after black for me😂. of course not tiffany blue

·

I cannot change your mind when I agree 😂 got a blue CasiOak, Vostok Komandirskie and Tissot SeaStar 2K

#Vostok #Casio #Tissot

I’ll go in as a recent Blue convert. My latest purchase is a beautiful blue guy and I wear it almost every day with all sorts of clothing styles. Suit? Check.

Jeans and black tee? Check.

Orange Velour tracksuit? Check.

Bathrobe and knee socks? Checkmate.

Blue is easily my favorite color dial.  Always has been.  Of my 11 watches, three are blue.

I have to actively force myself not to get the blue version of a watch most of the time. It's to the point of if I prefer the blue version of a watch, I don't get the watch at all.  So of my other eight watches, I preferred the colors I have of those over the blue version of it (if there was a blue version, which hasn't always been the case).

·

Big fact. Just ordered myself a blue 38mm Breitling Navitimer on a blue leather strap for that very reason. Blue rocks.

I can’t argue, Halios Universa, pastel blue, created by Hephaestus himself.

So you’re saying black is best?  Gotcha.

·

Well, I certainly won't be the one to change your mind!

Black can make it hard to see the dial.

I am deeply confused by this comment.

·

I won’t change anyone’s mind either.  I have gradients of blue from a lot to a little.

Blue is the new black... and green is the new blue...

·

In nature, blue is the most scarce color found in all flora and fauna. Perhaps this lends its universal appeal to our human-tuned eyes. Perhaps that's why it's so satisfying to gaze upon a finely-crafted azure dial.

·

All of my automatic watches are blue (and future ones will too). For some reason can't say the same for my quartz?

·

I disagree. Blue dialed watches are just fine, but the best? No.

I won’t try to talk you out of that opinion either.  LOL

·

Not ‘blue,’ it’s ¡BLOOOO! And bonus points for throwing a splash of orange 🍊 in there!

Bonus points for this 😎

·

I think blue has the most shades to experiment with that will be safe as you said. Green and other colors can get bad fast.

Amazing Blue dial collection!

·

Have any of you people heard of white dials? I suspect not.

My favorite watch is the Polar Exp II but overall, as a whole, I find blue better.

Put gold hands and indices on any navy blue dial and you got me.  It is an irresistible combination for me.

·

No idea what you’re talking about.

Well it definitely looks like I'm the biggest prick here then and loving it 💯

As for "Black can make it hard to see the dial" I beg to differ

The only thing i look for in a color is contrast to see the time quickly. The only color i favor is that vintage champagne patina look from the old 70's watches.
