New to WatchCrunch
Hi all,
I'm an amateur collector based in Horsham, UK. I started getting into watches about 5 years ago and really have the bug now.
I recently started blogging (www.bezelbuzz.com) and am looking to get more involved in the watch community to expand my knowledge and reach.
I have a long way to go as a collector. I feel these past few years have been about finding my taste. I haven't dabbled in anything top-end as of yet (borrowed the occasional Hulk, Sub etc) but in terms of ownership, I have been hovering around the £100 - £700 mark.
Recently became a dad so I did sacrifice a couple of pieces (which I aim to get again one day in the near future) such as Khaki Field Mechanical and a beloved SKX013.
Would be great to link up with collectors local to myself, but also anyone and everyone on this platform.

It's the Hodinkee X John Mayer Limited Edition. I liked it too. I think they sold out in a matter of minutes. It was £185, but someone really wanted it and paid me £600 for it, so I parted ways. Need a 6900 back in the collection though.
Welcome to WC and congratulations on becoming a Dad, I’ve got 2 kids now and am trying to get them into watches to give myself another excuse for the wife, however at 3 and 6 they’re not too enthusiastic yet. Still we live in hope.

But I contacted them directly and asked what model they produce closest to the original Seagull.
They said it was the one with the double line of text above the 6 marker. They said they had limited amounts but were able to send me one.
It may be worth asking if they still make that version now.
