How do you like it? I've been playing with the idea of getting one of these as opposed to a full smartwatch which I really don't want. I'm also a citizen Fanboy. Does it give you the best of both worlds? I'm just looking at it for health points and golf etc. Did you consider the full touch citizen CZ
You can take a large batch to a local pawn shop. They prefer to buy in quantity rather than individual in that price range. You won't make a ton of money, but you won't be at $0.00 either and they will be gone.
The other thing is you may be able to give them a few different types of watches and trade in for something they might have that piques your curiosity. 6 mid range watches may= 1 luxury watch?!🤔
Just from reading all the comments, it's very apparent that there are different tiers of micro brands. The ones that basically homage Seiko or citizen or Swiss and use off-the-shelf parts without any concern for developing the brand. Just selling the brand. Low tier, they will make their money and disappear time and time again. Backyard sellers.
Mid/Upper tiers seem to be in it for the long haul with unique designs and considerations to further development of their existing product. Still using off-the-shelf movements but more creative case designs and dial designs.
But I also think these brands will be absorbed by the big ones.
The overhead is just so massive that it's hard for companies to succeed when you're involving r&d and employees and all expenses. I think the majors will absorb the mid and upper level microbrands if they are successful enough because they can't afford to do it on their own, they'll need collaboration or they will just fade away because of the massive overhead.
