The Casio F-91W: Who owns one, and why?

Hi all,

I recently wrote a short article on the F-91W and why I think it's essential in all collections (as long as it's your taste!).

https://bezelbuzz.com/reviews/casio-f-91w-a-digital-icon-all-should-own/

It was one of the first watches I owned (£9 off Amazon some years back) and I still wear it a few times a month when doing house bits or exercising. It was just always an iconic design for so cheap it seemed silly not to have one.

Curious to hear from other owners about when they got theirs and why it's part of their collection.

Cheers

I’ve got one, I originally bought it for my son when he was 6 yrs old, he wanted a watch cause I wore watches. He eventually stopped wearing watches, so I wear it every now and then.

I had one but I didn’t like how it looked on me it was too small, so I gave it to my 5 yr old. I got caught up in the hype.

I don't have a F91W in my collection, I have AE1200s and an A168. But... my wife has 3x F91Ws in different colours. She has very dainty wrists and likes the simplicity and size of them. I've bought them all for her off Amazon. Great little watches 👌

I owned one, until my daughter took it from me.

I guess I was merely looking after it for the next generation

I know what you mean. When I really started getting into watches, I would put it on, and at times, it felt small in comparison. More recently though, I started liking the smaller size and I have been leaning more towards smaller case sizes in general.

I use mine all the time when I'm doing yard work or using power tools. Durable enough to get the job done but won't break your wrist or wallet if something unfortunate happens.

The number 1 reason... its too cheap not to own one?

Yes I have one but forget it’s in my drawer.
