Excellent video mate. I enjoyed that. I have worked with quite a few USN Submariners (I am working with one now on the desk next to me - he keeps me supplied with Peets Major Dickason's coffee from the US as you can't get it over here). My next job is over in the US (Pax River) in 2025 for 3 years, so I'm moving the family and looking forward to it.
Yes I have, great book. I have quite an extensive collection of submarine books. My favourite is One of Our Submarines by Edward Young. That book encouraged me to transfer from surface ships to the submarine service!
A great read. The Good Shepherd (made into the Tom Hanks film Greyhound) and Das Boot are also masterpieces in that genre. Enjoy! 🍻
