36mm Too Small?

As those who follow me are likely aware, I've fallen hard for the Lorier Falcon Series III with it's honeycomb dial, 3-6-9 dial & broad arrow hour hand.

The one thing I wasn't 100% sure about was the 36mm case.

Then I remembered I already had a watch with a 36mm case. It's a Mumbai Frankenwatch that cost me $30.

I think it's fine on a 7.5" wrist.

What do you think?

Looks good (but you know that’s what I would say).

·

Muhammad Ali wore a 32mm Cartier.

·

It works just fine.

·

Totally works. It’s not even a question. The real question is do you like how it looks/feels?

·

Looks great on you!

·

I feel like it’s more forgiving to go smaller than larger on a wrist. You’d need to go pretty small for it to look strange.

Muhammad Ali wore a 32mm Cartier.

And James Dean a 30mm JLC!

·

If it's good enough for Mumbai it has to work.

And James Dean a 30mm JLC!

Really? That’s a cool tidbit.

·

If you zoom in on just the watch, it makes it look much bigger than it is. So yeah, I see no issue!

·

Totally fine!

I have a 7" wrist and I think 36mm looks to small on it. In fact, I had given my wife 2 of them and had sold all of the rest. If Lorier made a 38-40mm, I think it would be perfection. All that being said, it should be about what you think and feel. When you make the decision, let us know what you choose and give us dinner insight on your decision making process. Good Luck.

Looks great!

I had the exact same thoughts about 36mm too. My wrist is about 7.25 and honestly, 36mm wears so well! I don’t think you will be disappointed! The Falcon is 🔥

·

It looks great. If you had a 36mm watch in mid-century it would have been considered a bit big as a most were 34-36. Only considered small now due fashion trends.

·

Looks fine to me brother.

·

Different watch but it looks like you can pull it off

·

Never my friend 👌

I have a couple of 36mm, in the watch box they look too small and for the fist few minutes after wearing them it looks small. This passes after a very short time for me and looks completely normal. Here is an example, its a very old Tag 36mm quartz.

Looks pretty damn good my friend 😎👍🏾

My Bulova Marine Star is only 38mm and we have similar size wrists. Heck I've been tempted to get the itty bitty Seiko Tank. If Ali could pull it off...

You were more pointed in doing what I was attempting.

The Lorier won’t be a problem for you at all. I’ll be envious, but that’s my problem.

·

I don't think it looks bad. I had a 34mm watch and I definitely felt it was too small for me. I try to stay between 38-45 for my 7.25 wrist. It is my personal preference. If someone else likes bigger or smaller watches that's their choice. Sorry I probably haven't been any help here.

·

Dude it looks awesome! Keep this beautiful watch! You know watches and this watch is incredible. I've followed you for a while. You do your homework on watches. We both know this watch is awesome 👌

·

Yep, 36mm watch on a 7.5" wrist is fine

·

That’s good enough right there any smaller than that. You not gonna get a good reaction.

·

Beautiful watch. While 36mm is pushing it for me, the right piece will see my money.

Looks Great ! I feel that whatever you are comfortable with and you love the look and style is perfect !! Enjoy your Time !
