Fun watches.

Well I've just read a post by unholiestjedi and it got me thinking so I'm starting a post about fun (funny) watches, now not watches you have fun with as such, that's all watches hopefully. But watches you bought for fun, daft, quirky, even to the point if being ridiculous, let's show each other how 'fun' we can be,after all it's not all about svelte horological masterpieces, and I hope unholiestjedi will jump in and show us his tattoo cos it's defo 'fun'. Here's one of mine

A sandos n fils India special, a superb peice of 'Swiss' engineering, the blue really pops the mesh bracelet is as good as anything out there(bugger to take off though), not quite cosc spec but close to within half an hour, everything is spelt correctly, and only £19.99 delivered. My only regret is not buying an 'oris' for £23.99 (now £35.99 and way out my league),come on show us yours😁😁

I think this one is fun:

C. Ward C65 crono. And hey, you never know when you might happen upon a regatta that needs timing.

All of the rest of my watches are deadly, deadly serious.

Here are some of my fun watches. I didn’t drag out Swatches, all dead btw, but these are “fun” from skeleton fossils to funky digital displays and Marvel Invicta. Simply love the Capt. America design and of course da’ Mouse is fun. 😄

I have literally never worn it out of the house... Its horribly cheap but fun.

Humism makes some fun watches, such as this Dasein model.

It uses three patterned discs, one for each of hours, minutes and seconds. As the discs spin, it creates mesmerizing patterns. The black dot on one disc shows the hours, while the hollow dot on another disc shows the minutes. The seconds disc simply rotates. In the GIF, the time is 2:24

It also has a display caseback to show the automatic movement.

Dude, if I had a nickel for every time I walked by a body of water and someone shrieked, "Does anyone here have a regatta timer?" Every time, I've had to walk away, head down in shame. You, my friend, will never have to endure that humiliation. I applaud you. 🙌

The type of watch they would have worn in ancient Rome, if they had watches back then 😉

Similar to the Bradley eOne, but it has the hours on the edge rather than on the top of the dial. I love the Roman numerals on the dial.

That eOne paired with that strap looks really sharp 👌

I love roman numerals, so I was a sucker for that AliExpress "DOM" watch I got for cheap.

Oh, man! This just in!

That DOM watch is really cool. It's the type of thing that if I ever stumbled across at a store for a reasonable price I couldn't leave without.  The strap on the eOne is really nice, but the fabric could be tough to keep clean if worn on a regular basis. The lugs articulate, so it's super comfy.
