Whats Your Field Watch?

I love this Hamilton Khaki Pilot Mechanical. The heavily domed crystal and the textured dial look great with the polished hands! What are you guys rocking for field watches?

I have a few. I love field watches. The one I've been wearing the most lately is my islander. As soon as the white dial gets back in stock I'll be getting another.

I normally don't much like Hamiltons, but that case shape is dynamite.

It's not really a "field watch", but it's more "field watch" than most.

I got this about 3 years ago.

It’s everything I wanted in a field watch. Black, simple dial, no date, 24 hour markers, automatic movement. The only thing I might change is if prefer a white seconds hand with a red tip.  That said, I prefer the red hand to an all white hand.

Its funny, I was thinking about this watch last night. Part of me wants to get a Hamilton, but I can’t quite justify that. There’s nothing about this watch I don’t like. It had me thinking, what’s so great about some of the watches people glorify. Nothing against Hamilton, I really like a lot of what they do, but I’m just not able to think of anything about the field khaki that’s better than this watch. If anyones got something to add here, I’m glad to hear it.

I only own one, the SNK809

My scratched beater field watch is a Citizen Eco-Drive 37mm. I've travelled with this one using either a canvas or silicone strap, not leather as shown.

Nothing fancy.  Tandorio PT5000 Field watch.  An automatic homage to the Hamilton Khaki Field.

Technically, the Spirit is a pilot watch. However, it's yer token GADA watch, so it can easily play the role of a field watch. It even kind of looks the part.

I own a timex north field post solar. Nice looking 36mm watch with blue dial. Sadly not able to post pics right now

Awesome watch, I have one too. The only slight issue for me is it's really poor to zero lume. Otherwise a fabulous sized field watch , which I reall appreciate.

That's a lovely watch! Are they still in production do you know?

·

Absolutely still in production, and it comes with a green canvas strap. This is Citizen's basic field watch BM8180-03E:

Swapping canvas for leather transforms the watch.

Picked this and wearing it all day!
