Islander Northport
Anyone here have any wrist time with the Islander Northport? I’m taking the orange dial for a spin. It’s violent haha. Running pretty accurate so far at +3 seconds a day.

Can't go wrong with Islander, have 3 in the box. Went with the Bayport diver at 40mm, she's solid 👍
I have one. It’s also very accurate, pretty much within 1 spd on the wrist.
I appreciate the date wheels symmetry and color matching.
I think the watch itself looks nice, and runs fine. I really like the case shape and bezel (thanks to Seiko). I had an issue with the seconds hand touching the crystal and stopping the movement, but that's been resolved. I can't stand the bracelet. I'll try it for a while, then switch to something else. Then I'll try it again, and then switch. I just hate the look of the end links, and the "upgraded" clasp is a hair puller. I think the jubilee bracelet looks a little better. One day I'll have to remove the bezel insert and reapply it since it's ever so slightly misaligned. Honestly, it's one of the few watches in my collection that I could sell and probably not regret or miss it.

Thats totally understandable. I think the jubilee looks much better on these and def a Nato/rubber. The clasp on mine is trash. Not a fan of it and it irritates my skin lol. My bezel is just slightly off by a half click to the left? I can get it sorta centered like it was in the photo. I see what you mean about how it could be forgettable (the watch). The seafoam is the best option IMO.
