SOTC and Introduction

Hi WatchCrunch,

Joined up a long time ago but haven't really used WC until recently. I was fairly active on Instagram under the same username but I just haven't been inspired to take any watch photos for a while (it just feels a bit redundant after a while). I do still visit some forums occasionally but here I am giving WC a shot!

Now on to the watches:

I'm extremely fortunate and grateful to be able to call this collection mine. It's taken years and lots of trying on of watches (let's not even talk about money 😬) to get to this point where I can't see anything leaving nor coming in. Apart from the MoonSwatch, it's stayed like this for the last two years - an absolute lifetime for us watch enthusiasts 😅

From left to right:

  • Rolex Submariner 14060M

  • Rolex Day-Date 18238

  • Tissot PRX

  • A.Lange & Söhne Lange 1 "Darth"

  • A.Lange & Söhne 1815 Up/Down

  • Ming 17.09

  • TAG Heuer Monaco Cal.11

  • MoonSwatch Mission on Earth

  • IWC Mark XVIII

Each watch has its stories, whether sad, happy, or just simply memorable. I suppose it's a bit foolish to attach memories to these inanimate objects but alas, each glance into the watchbox is like reading a page from an old, beloved diary.

Thanks for your time, WatchCrunchers, and have a great day, wherever and whenever you are 👍

This is a beautiful collection! So many cool pieces and a great variety of iconic brands. I’m also trying to diversify my big pieces so that I have different brands in my collection.

A very strong, well curated collection. Including the Moonswatch alongside a Lange points to a collector who appreciates unique pieces.

The idea of the Moonswatch is quite mad, really. Plastic and cheaply made, sure. But what it does offer are fun and playful color variations of an iconic watch that can be enjoyed by anyone, no matter where one might be on their watch journey.

I can’t argue with that. The Langes are stunning, I hope to add one in the future. We have some similar pieces, gold President, Sub, MoonSwatch, IWC Mark 18 and some P Cars😃

You, my friend, have excellent tastes 👌

·

Thank you all for such a warm welcome ❤️

Hell of a collection! And one I can tell was put together with thought and consideration! Well done!

Bought mine pre-owned as well. As far as I know, the hand issue was only affecting the Massena collaboration versions, but I might be wrong. Regardless, mine has no issues and is a joy on the wrist.

Good to know! Actually, the one I really love is the worldtimer, but it's crazy expensive!

Just about 10 years. And yes, the PRX is 35mm.
