Technically this is not the Clair that went to the moon. She looks exactly like an actual Clair but her organs are slightly different. It’s fine though, I just don’t think you should use that name.

No, all of her train wheels fit the mainplate far too loosely. The excessive play in the movement leaves me feeling unsatisfied.

I have a 7 Claire collection. You know, one just for really dressy formal occasions, one for daily use, one for water sports, one for her light, smallish case, a manual Claire that I like to wind up, and one just because of her complications. But the best one is a springy Japanese one that I just sent to Japan for adjustments. I'll miss her.

I can't afford the real Claire. I'll just get her chinese clone Ching. No certificate of whatever but I think she got perfect dimensions, great build, solid movement & can perform for 2 days straight. A really great bang for the buck 🍻
