I'm really considered this, despite it not being on my wishlist and despite saying I wasn't going to buy another watch until Xmas. It definitely works on the playful summer theme, and I don't have s yellow...

Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll arrive while the Mrs is out...?

Quick tip. Loose rubber straps are sometimes great for summer.

Only some of them. Needs to be smooth like fluorine rubber. And the watch needs to be shaped so it doesn't stab you or fall sideways. It's a lot to get right.

But once you get it right it's so comfy and breathable.

I own two Shinola watches, one is the "engineer" which is pretty out there, and the skateboarding one, and I have no guilt in saying I love these colors. COLORS will save watch collecting. I know about the somewhat scandalous stuff at Shinola and the prices are too high, but , this is still a delightful watch

I have the exact same watch!! Receives compliments all the time (a fun pun). Screwdown crown allows confidence while vacation swimming in southern Portugal. Love it!

I have considered getting this Triwa, which is a swedish company. Its just a plastic quartz, but with a cool twist as its made from ocean plastic.

My summer watches

I really like the orange second hand! I would like to have a bright dial and saw that it came in white as well, but maybe it wears too big on my wrist..

One that I found was one of the Casio edifice models. The dial is white so I would like to pare it with a colorful strap. I have read that integrated bracelets can be hard to find strap alternatives for, do any of you have this watch on a strap?

Yeah the white dial was always one I was fond of. But there is a Genta inspired octagonal bezel one in white that is 38mm I believe if you want the more integrated bracelet, sporty look

Old grebo biker, so this beauty is as colourful as I get 😂

Thanks - that was a collaboration they did with the famous British retailer Liberty whose color purple was used for the watch. It is a truly gorgeous watch on the wrist.

Probably this on red or white silicon - I'll change the strap before I go away...
