I also have a small wrist. I have the same size Seamaster from 2004. Every time I put it on, I feel like I can do anything!! From fun to business to travel to scuba diving. Change it up with an extra strap or two. You will not be disappointed.

I am guessing that if your Dad described the watch, as being “pretty blue”, then it is more likely a dress watch rather than a diver style. I cannot recommend a particular model number but I would assume he is referring to a thin dress watch. I don’t know anyone who would describe a rugged diver watch as ‘pretty’.
