Hello from The Netherlands!

Maybe a little late, but because I’m daily here it’s time to give it a little introduction. 😉

Most people call me Frank. 32 y/o. 17cm wrist. As the title says living in The Netherlands.

I mostly have a eye for good affordable watches. Seiko and Casio are my top brands. Timex shortly entered the chat, so I’ll probably buy more from them later. Still missing a proper GMT within the collection. Always have something to look forward, no rush!

I hope to see and learn more within this community. 🍻

Welcome to WC. Nice collection. Love to see the pocket watch. I have 3 pocket watches myself, all of which are over 100 years old yet still running great and keeping good time.

This one from Zenith was gifted to me within the family. Also over 100 years old. Definitely worthy within the collection!💯

First a bigger watch box. Haha.

As all stories, it is a littlebit faded. As far as I know my family had two of these, which they are still. This version is engraved with Grand Prix Paris 1900.

Zenith also mentioning this on their website.

GRAND PRIX DE PARIS

The first year of the 20th century proved to be a monumental one for ZENITH. At the 1900 Paris Universal Exhibition, among the latest technological developments from across the world, the Manufacture was honoured with a gold medal for its innovations on the technical side as well as its aesthetics.
