Vintage watches

I´m very fan of vintage watches. I think they have something special, a kind of charm that comes from old times and people who wore them.

These ones are two of my favourites, a 1967's Seiko Sea lion and a Roamer from around the sixties.

Do you also like vintages?

I haven't actively begun collecting vintage but have inherited or stumbled across a few and I just really like their vibe and the way they fit. #vintage

Have a collection of vintage watches.from 1915 to 1970's including Omega Oris,Technos like you I like to think of these watches as living history who owned the watch originally etc

I have an early 60's omega... but it's been at the repairers for 2 months now and they are still waiting for the part from Omega.... so ... no photo to share, and no watch for me to wear

Absolutely! I dig vintage style watches deeply (Dressier, white dials specially.) They have a unique charm and are worth cherishing in any collection. Although servicing them can be expensive (mechanical ones), it's delightful to have them in your possession, and they will always hold a special place in your heart.

Let's hope they can repair it soon for you! 👌👌👌👌

I love vintage watches, but i am scared to death to either get a disaster or something that is not what it is supposed to be.

My ‘most vintage’ would be my Waltham. By serial number it is from 1883.

It, but still keeps fair time. I have had it serviced once.

There are a heap of vintage watches out there Brian. Enough to cater for every taste and pocket.

Dip your toe in the water before diving right in. Buy something cheap and fun, and sell it on when your ready. Not every watch has to become a keeper or a family heirloom

So nice to see someone putting some love into lower end watches like Timex, and not just premium stuff :) top job.
