Grail Ordered!
I have been saving for my grail for a while now, and the time has finally come! I just placed the order, should be here Friday. Now, my wife recently asked how much I had saved for it, and when I told her, she said “How about we cover the rest as a 40th birthday gift?” Of course I said “yes!” The only problem is, my birthday is on February 18, and I think she is going to hold the watch until then. This next month will be torture.

Congratulations! It's a killer piece in my opinion. My family and I gifted my father one for his retirement party (my family did something similar to your wife and pitched in for the remaining bits of what I didn't have). He loves it and wears it all the time.

Excellent brand & model. My 2nd choice for a diver; 1st is their Planet Ocean, been drooling over a PO Chronograph for a month now; a "compromise" over a regular PO & a Speedmaster (both of them), about $4,000 less than both of those
Lovely! One thought though, if you're not going wear it immediately, be sure to give it a once over and make sure it's running properly, so if there's an issue you can address it immediately and don't miss any return window.

It has arrived! Bonus, my wife gave it to me a month early. I absolutely love it! I generally don’t wear watches around the house, but I’m wearing it now, just to take it all in.
