What makes a watch beautiful for me? I guess its your standard, conventional factors of the piece done well to make it more appealing.
I love watches with textured dials (AP Royal Oak, Seiko Presage Sharpe-edge, anOrdain model 1 fume etc). Texture would be one of the main factors that could grab my attention, as I remember in your last post of the new watch releases, the first watch my eyes shifted to was the Straum.
Dial proportion is also important. Cramming in too much detail in a watch kinda gives me a whole "messy" vibe. However, having some unorthodox features, such as asymmetry, would intrigue me, once again without going haywire with it.
Dial color. For me, some dial colors are more intriguing than others. Green is an amazing colour imo that I would like to mention. Dial color also depends on the style of watch, like, I tend to prefer Dive watches with some pop of color (Doxa does 'em very well).
Yeah, these are just a few of the factors I consider when selecting a "beautiful" watch, but to be honest, its a sensation one gets when he/she finds that watch. A sensation that just can't be described entirely.... (As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder)
Sweet watch! And yeah the DressKX is a great versatile and affordable watch.
One other watch that would work well in many circumstances under $500 would be Tissot's quartz PRX. Great watch for everyday wear, with a sporty look, and you can dress it up by replacing the bracelet with a leather strap.
Great collection. I would probably go for something fun or vibrant. Might I suggest a Brew Metric, Seiko 5Sport GMT SSK005 or Tissot PRX (Either the quartz mint or powermatic 80 in glacier blue).
If it's a white face you want, then maybe a Seiko Speedtimer Chrono, Raven Airfield or Junghans Max Bill
I know many don't like the Milguass as much as Rolex's other models, but I think it is highly underrated. I love the quirky look blended with a simple case, and I might be one of the handful to call it my favorite kind of Rolex.
RIP to the legend 🙏
Nice!
I'm just tryna get my hands on a Casio Duro, but unfortunately I cannot find a good deal. Local stores sell it at unreasonable prices and international stores have high shipping fees. Since I'm only a teenager, I gotta make every buck worth.
Once I do, I'll definitely be needing a metal bracelet for the watch, so thanks for providing a good option.
