Best/Favorite Tudor Diver

The only Tudor I really find any love for is the Tudor Daytona, or Tiger Woods Chrono.  Those on an oyster bracelet get me excited.

FXD is best diver imo. 

Based on function and robustness, I would think the FXD takes the cake. That said, the Pelagos 39 is just so hawt and would be my pick. 

Concur, love the FXD because it's a more unique diver due it's timing for distance traveled vice diving/depth.

I think how the bezel ghosts in sunlight is cool but the "sunray" dial is pretty much non existent and would love to see this in blue for maximum Sunray dial effect 

I’d choose the original blue Pelagos. I’m still hopeful they will release that in a 39/40 next year keeping the matte finish and not glitzing it up like the P39. 

I'm with you. Love the classic blue pelagos. I wish the 39 had a date, but that's just me. I know the community really wants a blue 39 (and a polar pro)

As a daily?  The BB58.  

To actually scuba dive?  The Pelagos.  

I have the BB58 with the gilt dial, and love it. I don't have any gold watches in my collection, but I love the contrast between black and yellow gold tones, which that version provides. I'm in the minority in terms of liking the snowflake hands, but I always thought that they would have looked better with either square (like the Pelagos) or rectangular  indices. I really like the look of the new Pelagos 39, but since a large part of the appeal for me is the gilt dial, my vote would go to the OG BB58.  A combination of the two would be ideal in my mind - a gilt BB58 with square Pelagos style index markers.

Agree about the 58 gilt dial. I deff prefer that look over the standard blue 58. The gilt adds that extra pop and character as a more homage aspect to older no-date subs.

What can you say 39 perfect size in titanium what else is left? We know who the clear winner is people. Just kidding..actually I love both these watches anyone is a winner. What do you guys think of a Pelagos with a gilt dial? That would be cool 😎

The Pelagos is my grail...it is just so tooly, I love that look. I really liked how Teddy said when he sees the Pelagos out in the wild he wants to ask the owner why did you pick it over the BB. I think the Pelagos is a sleeper pick and speaks to certain folks...in reality you can't go wrong with either....

I have the larger BB...

But this one is my favorite in the collection...

LHD is my pick. The last word in Tudor "Diver" IMHO. 😉

Picked the BB58 because I have a blue one and it's an incredible watch. If the FXD was 39mm, I would change my vote and also sell my 58 to get one. 

I have owned all except the P39, here are my opinions: BB58 too much shine, too many shapes, unreliable movement. BB41 poor fit, too tall, too many shapes. P39 looks like an homage to Seiko SPB series. 

Hence my vote goes to the Pelagos 42 line, particularly the FXD. 

i am in the market for a BB ceramic. the most interesting BB for me

"None of the Above."  Dive watches are ugly.  Tudors are ugly.  Put these two together and you get a dive watch so ugly it's hard to look at.

Just the simple tudor heritage bb41 smooth bezel for me..no need to gear it up that's what my seikos are for 

The only Tudor I ever liked was not a diver but their interpretation for a true modern Explorer - the North Flag, so Tudor obviously had to deep six it.

Then north flag is awesome

I only like the Pelagos at 42mm

I really like watches with a twist. LHD or FXD pelagos stand out for me 

Yours is a great problem to have!  Pelagos for me.  Instant legibility, brushed (aka scratch-tolerant) finish, knockout lume, killer bracelet.  I liked the blue one so much I picked up the black one too.  The 39 looks really nice in photos, but I’ve never actually seen one in real life.  I love the purposefulness and back story of the FXD, but the need to use pass-thru straps offsets much of the thickness reduction.  (Although if I found one I’d probably still talk myself into it.).  Good luck!
