Do you do it?

Dear WC fam.

Do you, sometimes, may be when nobody is watching, for some reasons wake up and decide to master the day without a watch? I don't mean "ups, I forgot to put it on" no. I mean fully aware decision to NOT wear a watch for a day (or two, or three ...).

Do you go "nude"?

Nope, I pretty much always wear a watch.

·

There are some truly weird people on this website 😉

·

Of course. If I carry a pocket watch, I don't wear a watch on my wrist!

·

Nope. Even under shower when i have my wrist blank it feels wrong. Feeling complete only with watch on my wrist

·

How do you put your pants on if the watch isn’t on wrist? Savage.

·

I just don’t see why I would choose not to wear one. I mean what’s there to benefit by not wearing one?

·

Nope.

·

Your notion is anathema to me and I'll thank you to never make so preposterous a suggestion again.

·

Absolutely...even with so many yet to get wrist time, sometimes you don't want to track the time.

Then again, my concept of a mobile phone is a phone I can use to make outgoing calls when I am mobile. Otherwise, it's turned off.

·

You mean, go outside naked?

·

Oh hell no.

·

I use my volunteer EMT work (no shifts just whomever shows up shows up) to justify my watch obsession ;)

·

I read this and the sentence “that man ain’t wearing nothin’ but a watch and a smile” made its way into my head before I could do anything about it.

Hey, when that is your jam ... who am I to judge, right? But hypothetical question: Would it be naked or "naked" naked a.k.a. without your watch?

One does not go out in public without makeup, hair done and properly attired.

But I accept other people have different ideas of proper attire

You mean, the older we get, less and less we want to be remembered that time waits for noone? #philosophy

More like the closer we get to that divine meeting...

You are either excited with positive anticipation...

Or not...

I am in the same industry and have the same slogan to follow - the NUM's get to wear one - non-clinical! But I do wear one to work, which goes in the locker when I start, and back on wrist at breaktime, and then at hometime! I can't help myself.

·

that concept is beyond foreign to me

·

I think in the Watch Crunch terms and conditions that is grounds for an immediate ban 😂

·

“….watchu talkin’ about, Willis??” 😂😂😂🤙

·

All the time. Especially if I'm not leaving the house (I'm retired) or doing manual labor, i.e., yard work or fixing things around the house.

·

Always wear a watch.. even to bed. Feel "lost" without !!!

·

I have a watch for the morning (from bed to shower which is around 20 minutes), a watch for the day 9-5 then a watch for home night from 6 to bed. In what dystopian world could I ever choose not wearing one of my babies ??

·

sometimes , yes

If its too hot or I just cant be bothered :)

·

That would be insanity! 😜

·

Once in a while, I will leave the house with only one watch that’s about as close as I get.

I think I’d sooner leave the house wearing nothing but a barrel with suspenders attached to it than go out without a watch on.

I sleep with a watch on my left wrist, and the first thing I do when I get up is take my Apple Watch Ultra off the charger and put it on my right wrist. The only time I’m without a watch is in the shower.

·

Not recently no, it's become as much my daily ritual leaving the house as wearing shoes...

I can't sleep with a watch on. Every time I fall asleep wearing one, I wake up in the middle of the night and have to take it off before I can fall asleep again.

I wake up every morning to find I've loosened the strap and went back to sleep.
