Nothing. I am not beholden to my addiction. I am the captain of this ship.

But for real, I actually find I’m in a content little plateau, and am enjoying not wanting anything for the time being. I’m sort of a simpleton and am easily entertained.

Nice. Respect.

Grand Seiko SBGE 253/255 or 257. I've had my eyes on those for about two years now and it will take me about 9-12 more months to build up the funds to get one, but I may buy it before I fully save up because....

I only buy luxury watches to commemorate events in my life. For instance, I got my Oris Big Crown Pointer Date when I turned 50 and I got my Omega Aqua Terra when I made partner at my firm. It's the sub-$1,000 models that I buy on a whim. This year, I'm getting divorced and that's actually a good thing. Well worthy of a commemorative timepiece. Once that is finalized, I'll pull the trigger.

Several ! I have a long term saving plan (£10 a week) for a Grand Seiko GMT quartz, that will take me a few years. Before that probably a MoonSwatch when the hype subsides. As well as that my next purchase will be a Casio DW5600, oh and a Seagull before the year is out. I could keep on typing ....

I am tracking a couple of things, but nothing too major. Main one is a Moeris, and a potential Revue / Vertex if nobody gets too excited on it.

I was watching a Timor A.T.P. as it was a little more expensive than a usual vintage drop and I don’t actually need anything (was trying to be good - if was still there in June/July then I would have dropped on it) but someone actually swiped it the other day after a few rounds of no bids so good for them. It’s a lovely watch. I have clocked a Buren version but again it’s not a huge desire, but also there is another Buren Grand Prix that is quite sweet that could keep me going before I send the other one in for a service.

I've paid half on the Ming 22.01 gilt (or should that be guilt) with the rest expected next spring.  I'm also having really bad thoughts about speccing and getting a Dornbluth.  That is (I think) 25% upfront and the balance when it's made (about 16 months later).  Am resisting so far.

·

I have a few on my list and it largely depends what deals come up first. Cartier Francaise is likely going to be my next top big purchase, but I have a gorgeous vintage Seiko 5 in the post ❤️

·

Omega Aqua Terra is my next and only purchase for this year.

Well we shall see 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

·

Omega X Swatch Mission To Mars or Neptune.

·

Just placed my order on the Maen Manhattan 37. That should relax these craving hands for a while... 😬

·

Either a Vacheron Constantin Historique American 1921 (36mm) in white gold or a Patek Philippe Calatrava 6119G...whoever calls first (both are on a waitlist) 😑.

Also, a mission to Uranus moonswatch 😂

·

Casio F100 ( importing from Japan = tax fun ) ^^

I was going to grab one of those myself, great looking watch and good spec’s too. But I’m broke 😔 spent all my cash on a new Sinn

·

Thats always a hard question for me.

I would love to one day own a Rolex (be the first owner) and give it to my future kids.

Thats what my grandfather and father did. I have both their watches and they made me get into this hobby. Its not that Rolex is the best brand. Its just that this has become some kind of tradition that I would love to keep going.

Anyway..thats a long way to say. GIMME THAT SUB BROTHA

There are worse reasons for being broke. ♥️

·

A Speedmaster and a Tank.

For me, these will be quite spread out purchases.

·

Cant decide between the grand seiko spring or the new two tone Tudor gmt.

·

Tudor Black Bay 36

·

Sinn 556i(red second or mocca)
well it can sounds weird but i need a lot of time to save for that watch

·

Omega X Swatch Mission To Mars or Neptune.

Neptune for me as well. Was saving up for a Seiko Alpinist. But taking a break from getting more Seiko automatics (for now).

·

Rolex gmt, have funds, just waiting for the call

·

My retirement.

The more expensive watches I fancy I could afford at a push, but right now I'm not quite fancying them enough to pull the trigger. Still having fun with cheaper watches.

·

Probably in distant future someday:

Nomos Metro 35 ( they have been pushing larger sizes lately, hope they keep 35mm)

GS Snowflake/ HI-Beat or even a basic SBGR051

Seiko Landmaster Sagarmatha.

Seiko Frost Monster with the 6r15 movement

·

Black bay 36 for me. Love those hands. One of the reasons i like homages is to see what the real thing would be like. I could wear a 45 but I can forget a 36 is there and hardly feel it.

·

Save ? Someone named Visa or was it Master Card gave me free money to spend on anything my heart desires. 😂

·

I would love to own the Pelagos FXD. A lot of amazing models these days, but that one is really up there!

·

actually my next investment property but apart from that on the horological front: Breitling Datora B25 annual calendar!

·

some sort of explorer alternative.

·

A red dial diver for under $1,000.00.  There are many choices.

·

At the rate I am spending money, I will soon be saving for a Casio F91W. 😭
