How many divers do you currently own in your collection?

And why is the correct answer "not enough?"

I have a few but I really don't feel like counting them. I also have military, pilot, field, dress, and sport watches but don't feel like counting them either.

My “Diver” watches

0 and very proud of it :-)

·

To each their own, but I have 3 and don't want additional. I'm looking to round out my collection with different options from the other types like field, dress, etc.

Some people drink too much. Some gamble. Me, I’m into dive watches. I’ve done counseling. Been to support groups. Tried electric shock therapy.

But they keep calling to me. They’re relentless. And I am powerless against their sirens songs 😉

·

Anything is a diver if you're brave enough. 😏

·

Why is not enough the answer? Because divers have different categories and purposes. Desk divers, deep sea divers, dress divers, GMTs, super compressors

·

This is my least favorite style but a staple, so even I have 4 in the case.

·

I prefer dive watches because of its robustness! So my collection are mainly dive watches 😅

·

I agree with not enough.

·

“I really have no idea” was not an option, so I went with 10+

·

Currently i have 4. by this afternoon it should be 5. and until march 2 more are coming in.

·

I love dive watches, and in my first phase that’s what I was focusing on, maybe a bit to my detriment haha! I have 6 now and I think that will do me for now (sadly). I only really wear 3 of them regularly. I do want to add an orange dial diver at some point, so one of the 5 will go to get that one in

·

I have 2 right now and will probably stay that way for a while. But at this point the next couple watches I add will likely be divers. I just find a timing bezel super useful

·

0, but looking to add one. The Serica 5303 really speaks to me. Also, as soon as omega makes a modern seamaster 300m in less than 40mm I’m getting one.

·

5 out of my 7 watches are divers. They’re my preferred style, but I’m working on diversifying.

The #serica5303 is of my favorite watches. It's excellent

·

1. Sea Dweller SD43 (bought 2023)

2. PAM 1359 (bought 2022)

3. Seamaster 300 Professional (bought 2021)

4. Planet Ocean (Gen 1) Chrono (bought 2016)

I love them all and rotate them frequently, but admittedly I often wonder if that's too many divers. Can't bring myself to sell any of em though.

·

One now , my Willard Seiko until I get a Panerai PAM00112 possibly

·

So I've got 5: the #christopherward Trident, the #vostok Amphibian Scuba Dude, a #seiko 5, the #glycine Combat Sub and the #serica 5303. It's 6 if we count the #maen Hudson GMT (300M water resistance).

Best part? ..I hate swimming 😑

·

I guessed - didn't want to go count, had a good swag of how many. Watch collector problems. lol

·

Have only owned one in the past, atm zero, and whilst divers are probably my favorite design, I just don't wear them.

That's really interesting to me, why do you think that is, that you don't wear your favorite design, if you don't mind me asking?

Divers are awesome, and I love the tool aesthetic and functionality, they just aren't for me.

Specifically for the why then like bracelets, they are too loud I guess? The watches I wear are smaller dressier watches that don't have presence until I need to check the time

Plus I like my watches to have a specific purpose, divers just don't really have one in my lifestyle

Makes perfect sense!

I’m in the six percent. Makes sense why I don’t fit in here 😂 it’s probably the most popular style of watch worldwide but not as much on here. No doubt because divers aren’t sophistcated enough yes yes I get this LoL that’s why I’m so happy!
