What watch would you buy and wear daily if money was not a problem?

I don't express my wealth through watches so I'm not sure if this poll is relevant to me, but I'll play along. A nice thin gold vintage from Pateq-Phillipe perhaps, which is the only acceptable gold watch for me, or perhaps the incredibly thin Citizen Eco-Drive One.

None of these are extraordinary expensive, thought.

Yeah its just a bit of cloud thinking none of it is relevant in this dream called existence :)

Massive Rolex fan but if money no object I'd try a Richard mille 030 totally different to all my other watches

·

I’d probably wear a VC Overseas Dualtime, a panda Daytona or a rose gold Santos. One can dream..

·

Ah yes....I dunno what I would wear but I know exactly how I would wear it.

As in, take it off where ever and what ever I want without bothering to check that I actually put it on again. Man, I'd live to be that rich to the point where I'd be leaving 5,6 figure watches like a hermit crab abandoning old outsized shells. 🤤🤤🤤

Classic, sporty, dressy. The VC historique American 1921.

When i become a billionaire theres no way im only getting one watch, like sme kind of paltry milionaire. I'd like to think I'd still do stuff like I do now when I'm at work. So I'd probably still wear like a g shock, but I'd get like a gold square, need something to make dinner in, or wheb im changing the oil of the car or putting in a new toilet flapper.  Then for my casual/dressy watch I'd wear for going out/just hanging around would be this one sick white gold Rolex Daytona with a meteorite dial.

·

So what watch will THEY be wearing then? 😜

·

Well, that’s what I’m already doing. No watch of mine sits in a safe as an investment or something like that. I’m not a particularly rich person though… 😂 Anyway, I think it’d be a GMT-Master or a Royal Oak that I’d totally rock.

I have two; one for my whimsical side...

And one for my not whimsical side...

This is like the tale about Dick Cavett being accused of playing pocket pool, to which he responded with something like "I have people to do that for me."

Anyway, there was some comment on another forum years ago about how they got queries from young executives asking which ~$500 watch  (and pens, as this was a while back) they should get, then similar people a decade or two further  on asking about the tenfold price item, but the "university wing donors" with their cheap Timex and #2 pencils never cared what you thought.

Stainless steel, so not to precious. 38mm, so perfectly sized. King of all watch brands, beautiful to look at. Beautifully finished. This checks all the boxes for me.

The Omega Speedmaster Moonshine gold...hooked since I saw one in person. For a gold watch, it's not flashy and quite subtle with that green dial.

Or any one of these two VCs.
