Watch shopping in Sydney with the wife . The Grand Seiko model is new , the SBGW297G much better fit with a 9S movement. Around 8.1K , I tried on a VC Perpetual calendar chronograph , blue and white gold $199K . I didn’t dare try and photograph it , just seemed a bit gouche to do it . I tried on a JLC moon phase , it was beautiful. I tried on a PAM00112 it looked comical on my wrist and I tried on the FXD in Ceramic , the Redbull racing diver, it’s my pick I believe. I also tried on the 38 mm Omega Aqua terra in green dial , lovely …. Though in Aussie dollars $10.7 K !!!

Prices are getting 𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘴 aren't they! Over 10K for an AT ...
I'm doing the secondary market this year.
I think that GS dial looks a lot like a past presage model?
What about the chronograph Pelagos FXD? That is nicer than the three handset in my opinion.
Ahhh, the Eggshell Cafe on Macquarie St. Been there MANY times!

It's basically it but done with GS high quality standards. Looks really great in both cases in my opinion. 👌

The Tudor FXD Red Bull racing was reasonable, the Seiko was around 8.1K AUD it technically was an awesome watch . I wouldn’t pay $10.5 K for an Aqua Terra nope , agree with you on that.
Absolutely they were nice people, Kevin was a lovely guy. Very welcoming. a big plug for Cecelia at Panerai was lovely too .

Nothing like it Tony sorry, more like the Zenith only better . The quality of the Presage compared to the GS are like chalk and cheese .

Tony even the bracelet is a better job than in the past with GS , still no on the fly adjustments though.

Clasp looks good and you’re right about the micro adjust on the fly. I’m watching this aftermarket supplier to have the answer https://steel-reef.com/blogs/upcoming-projects/2-grand-seiko-like-never-before-announcing-a-breakthrough-in-bracelet-adjustment-technology
Love the 3 hander FXD. I have one on order!

Alan the GS was just a stunner , I am pretty sure I will get either the Redbull Racing Carbon or I still like the Titanium FXD in black also :)

Really would love a carbon watch as well, but am still waiting to hear more long term durability reports. The Ti FXD is a killer durable watch, we have same taste my friend. Also - cute pic with wifey!
