Which one should I take? I'm not committing; but I am open to suggestions.....I normally take one watch for each day, but I am thinking of only taking one for this trip.
There will be hiking, dinners, shopping etc....bascially no water activities.
Sounds like a fun trip! How does the Washi compare to the GS? Both are on my list of watches I want to get eventually!
The GS is large (42mm) and heavy (auto) while the Citizen is small (38mm) and light (EcoDrive/Titanium). They really are two completely different beasts.
Even though I am an otaku GS fanboy, given your options, GS is too shiny and formal
The Speedy 145.012-67 is too precious! Come on, man! That's some real history there. You can't be wearing that around on your vacation! You gotta keep it under lock and key and only take it out every 2 weeks to wipe down with a microfiber cloth for a few minutes
The Citizen is gorgeous, but again too shiny and formal
That leaves the PAM270 as your only option. And, it's an awesome watch!

Gotcha, thank you! How does the finishing compare?
Speedy…I feel more casual the citizen and gS feels a bit more formal maybe because it’s on a bracelet but if you switched them with a strap hmmmm damn it can’t decide either bring all of them!!!
Depending on the kind of trek I would bring the one that would not bother you as much if you accidentally banged it on a rocky surface. Out to dinner or shopping, any one of those watches would be more than adequate. If it was up to me I probably would take the Pam, I just really like that style, and for hiking it just has a more rugged look about it.

Both have zaratzu polishing, the Citizen had a high tech anti scratch coating on the titanium. They are comparable in terms of finishing and price for sure.
Ok, let's be honest. For any true "adventure" trip, we would all take a g shock haha. My own copy has radio atomic clock (so you never miss that lunch reservation!), and split timer so that snooty French waiter can't drag his feet, and solar powered if you get ship wrecked on an island. So it's all about jewelry. And that depends on the company you will keep. If it's a lovely lady, the GS. You can explain all the wonders of the spring drive. Family and friends, take the panarai. It's tough enough to take some abuse.

I just can't get down with the GShock, I know, I know it unbelievable but true. My fist thought was the Panerai, but I wanted to see what the group has to say.
I'm still on the hunt for a GShock that I find acceptable.

Yeah, I know. The styling is .. uh what it is. I keep the atomic solar as a reference for my other watches. I set my time to it. Shrugg.
What outfits will you be wearing? Formal/Informal? Long sleeves, short sleeves? Long pants/shorts?
Very casual, shorts & tees during the day and chinos & flannels at night. This is California so you have to dress in layers that can peel off during the day and then peel back on at night. That plus a baseball cap and sunglasses are a must.
I initially voted for the GS SBGR309. But I defer to the recoms of @Ichibunz@HotWatchChick69 and Sir @JaeBust. Whatever you bring, enjoy your long weekend, bud! 🍻
I'm in favor of the Citizen. It's the only one of the four that gives me this pass-partout vibe that makes it suitable for all the activities you listed.

Speedy for me...but you have great options!
Really no wrong answer here. I say GS or the Washi.

4 day weekends are the best!

This is certainly a first world problem.

GS but Citizen seems like a good choice too
All of them are good but I think I'd take the PAM
With hiking as one of the activities, I would go with Pam if I were you. It seems to be rugged and be able to withstand sweat along the trail.
Enjoy your vacation 😁😁

Points taken, thanks!

Awesome, thank you for the comparison! Hard to find thorough reviews on the citizen
I'll do a post comparing them with some photos next week. I'm not much of a reviewer, but I will try.

PAM270 looks great for a long weekend has plenty of power reserve on tap. Have a great weekend

GS hands down!
I'm sure you have a watch roll. Just bring all of them and wear whatever you feel like. Problem solved.

No water activities - so you will be safe with the Panerai diver.

PAM 270
@HotWatchChick69 already made my points. Rock it and enjoy.
GS
Great options :) i love the speedy but voted for the Panerai i feel like it might get banged around while hiking
