Who includes the best bracelets with their watches?

I don't wear straps and always opt for bracelets.

In some cases, it's cheaper to buy the watch with a factory bracelet (ex. Seiko, Omega, or other Swatch group watches) since it'll cost a lot more to get the bracelet later.

My Citizen Promaster (old Ray Mears) came with a titanium bracelet for an extra $80. It does its job well, but I have to wear it loose since the expansion clasp is awful.

My Omega 1957 Railmaster has a decent bracelet, but with a 38mm case, the 19mm bracelet would benefit from a slight taper. This is also the only bracelet in my collection that leaves a weird black residue on my skin. This seems to be related to the metal it was made from (?)

Damasko sells optional bracelets for some of their models. They're entirely produced in-house in Germany (and are priced accordingly). Given that their background is in aerospace engineering and complex metalwork, the bracelets have a very purposeful appearance that I like.

Rolex's entry level models probably have the best bracelets for the price. The solid + milled OP, DJ, and Explorer bracelets from their current lineup are all outstanding. I suppose that this should be expected after their acquisition of the acclaimed Gay Freres company.

In your opinion, which manufacturers supply the best bracelets with their watches?

Very impressed with the bracelet on my po

·

Glashütte Original is probably among the top brands supplying the best bracelets.

·

I really like the Blancpain X71 for style, comfort and quality of materials and workmanship, but have not personally tried any recent competitors at that end of the scale. For anything under $1500, San Martin is hard to beat! :)

·

Rolex easy answer, the bracelets are superb 👌🏽

·

For the price, probably Monta.

Grand Sei🤭.....sorry sorry i couldnt finish that word. To be fair, they're comfortable but lacks micro adjust for when my wrists swell. My band aid solution is wearing it a half link loose.

My favorite in my collection is the iwc mark xx bracelet. The clasp is small and not huge like rolex and omega's, yet it still has a hidden sliding micro adjustment system when you press the iwc button. The bracelet itself wears comfortable too.

The tissot prx bracelet also looks nice and shiny for the price of the watch. And it has quick removal. Only complaint is it has no micro adjustment.

Seiko!

Said no one ever. 😂🤣😂

I agree…IWC. By far the best bracelet I own. It’s a masterpiece on my Mark XX. Better than my Omegas.

This. After Rolex, IWC is does a great job, but under $5K? Monta. Hands down.

·

Best I have by far is Rolex. But I don't own any high luxury watches.

·

Tudor oyster bracelet on the black bay smiley is really comfortable..

·

Omega, Monta, Tudor, and Traska first come to mind for me. Going to be a bombthrower and say as an owner of a Rolex watch and having handled many more, Rolex bracelets don't impress me as better than those I listed or as anything magical.

·

Traska and Lorier; super soft and comfortable with full articulation and on-the-fly micro adjust (in Traska’s case)

·

I'm the opposite, never had a watch with a bracelet and never will, only straps.

Probably the best bracelet I’ve experienced!

·

Tudor's T-Fit 5-Link is, surely, one of the best! My humble personal opinion is that Tudor's T-Fit is definitely better than Rolex's Easylink!

I love the PRX bracelet. I too was worried about the lack of microadjust but, given that it comes with half links, I was able to get a really good fit. Could be luck as all wrists are different.

Omega bracelets have always been my favourites but the Rolex clasps were better when the milled clasps arrived but now omega has fixed that on all their watches now. My favourite bracelet ever came on my speedmaster auto. Comfortable very good looking and the clasp was a work of art. Bought almost 25 years ago and probably 80 bracelets later it’s still my favourite.

I’ve been buying strapcode bracelets for my seikos for a long time now and apart from the lack of on the fly adjustment these are great quality. Recently got an uncle bracelet for my sinn 556 and it’s surprised me just how good the quality is

Ive never had one but the very best overall is either the Royal Oak or the VC overseas. It even has on the fly adjustments on a butterfly clasp 😍 the finishing and design of the czapek was amazing too but the last three are out of reach for me

Rolex. And it isn't even close.

·

Zelos has amazing comfortable bracelets with really great on the fly adjustment mechanisms.

·

I own four watches with bracelets.

My Longines Conquest bracelet is by far the most substantial and highest quality. Links are thick, plenty of heft, and it wears very comfortably. Some don’t like the butterfly clasp. I love it.

My Certina DS Action Diver is very, very comfortable. Perfect fit. Some say the clasp is cheap. I have no issues with it.

My Seiko Speedtimer bracelet was junk. The split pins kept coming out. Had to replace it with a Strapcode jubilee which is very comfortable.

Lastly, my Hamilton KFA wouldn’t fit. Either too tight or too loose. Had extra holes drilled and now I have a perfect fit. It’s comfortable, but the links are a little thin.

Have the seamaster and speedmaster from that 57 set. Like you I wish it had a little taper, but they’re solid options. It sounds like you need to put your bracelet into an ultrasonic cleaner, or give it a nice lightly soapy scrub with a soft toothbrush and a thorough rinse.

I’ve never had any black residue come out over the years I’ve worn mine. I clean the bracelet maybe once a month like this. Give it a go!
