I’m fortunate to own both Omega and Rolex . For me Rolex is superior, the bracelet and general feel of the watch is of better quality in my eyes. I also prefer the Rolex catalogue, I find Omega far to cluttered with many variations of the same watch. A negative for me with Rolex is the hype around the brand, I hate this investment and flex bs. I’ve been a Rolex fan for many years and hold on to the memory when Rolex was a tool and every day watch ( albeit expensive). If someone is fairly new to watches , I completely understand the dislike of Rolex, the purchase process through todays ADs is not a enjoyable experience!! . End of the day, both are fantastic watch brands and make superb products but we all have our own opinions.. it would be boring if we didn’t ☺️🤝
Interesting you say this .. when the 200t was released it went straight to the top of my wish list . I have since seen it in a shop window ( I didn’t have time to go in and try it on ) , I was taken aback at how small the overall watch and dial looked. I will go back in the next couple of weeks and try it on but I’m thinking the sub 300t may be a better option for me ! 🤔
I’m a big fan off Roman numerals on dress watches . On the DateJust though I think they are a little off , I don’t like the imbalance of the 1 and 11 o’clock numerals, i prefer the daydate with deconstructed roman numerals.
Looks great 👌🏽 . Strange , I’ve was always disappointed with the lune on the Explorer that I once owned 🤔my sub on the other hand has great lume. I wonder if it does vary on each watch ( from the same manufacturer) and its luck how bright it is ?!
