What’s your dream watch?

And I mean the first one that always comes to your heard?

The child in me would have loved to say that it was a Rolex but I’m absolutely in love with the Omega Aqua Terra World Timer.

A very solid choice - I’m looking at getting a Black Bay 58 soon, not the same but I do love a Tudor

Sarpaneva.

I am always pulled in to the sky dweller model in blue dial. I am a sucker for blue dials. But that is the watch for me.

Sarpaneva.

Which Sarpaneva???  I've never heard anyone say this before!  I thought I was the only one!

This is my honest-to-god grail watch:

Sarpaneva also some amazing custom orders, I’m following a thread on it now on my local watch forum and it looks absolutely brilliant.

Hmmm... The child in me though wanted a power ranger watch... With a switch of a button I can turn to Go Go power rangers 😍😘

·

The ‘No Time to Die’ Bond watch makes me feel some kind of way

·

The one I think I will actually purchase eventually: Grand Seiko "Sakura" SBGA413

The one that I would really like, and likely never end up buying due to the price, is the Cartier Santos skeleton (one of the many variations).

Unfortunately the GMT Master II Pepsi… Will probably never get one at retail and refuse to pay more :‘(

·

Probably the Patek Philippe 5205G-013 or the 5146

Something I will never own and would probably have a hard time justyfing if I could.
Rainbow Daytona. That watch is just incredible.

·

Brand new/sealed Swatch vintage FLIK FLAK watch from 1988; sweet child memories 🙏

Sarpaneva.

I’ve never heard of this company before you said it, just a quick google and I can see why you put it on the list, got a specific model in mind?

·

I have two. Both are expensive so I expect it to take a while to get either of them. A steel Daytona in black at MSRP and a JLC Master Control Calender.

·

I’d have to agree with your choice, Omega Aqua Terra, it’s attainable and very classy and you could wear it anywhere and it not look out of place 😘

·

A speedmaster, the real one.. easy that could be my only watch

·

Going to throw out one I saw in the flesh last week and can't get out of my head, the Bremont Longitude in the white gold, way out of budget for me currently and only 75 made in the white gold, but represents as far as British watchmaking has got in 50 years and I think that's a great achievement

Yup mine as well and agree with your sentiments.

Ah i Really don’t like the scalpers and resell culture that has hit watches - it’s on par with the Jordan hype but way costlier

Yup and it annoys me that I can‘t get my all time dream watch now because of that but it is what it is I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unfortunate but it is indeed, not much you can do in this market. Especially with limited runs (and stupidly the non limited Omega x Swatch)

·

Omega Speedmaster. Everything about it is captivating. The movement, the dial, the bracelet, everything.

I completely agree. That is probably my second favorite watch behind the speedy

When I was younger I had an Oris catalogue, always wanted a Chronoris.

·

JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar.  For some reason I have been eying dress watches recently and I really like this one. Plus, the Marvel connection is neat.

Today, it's probably a 5 digit datejust from the 90s with a jubilee. Tomorrow, who knows?

·

It doesn't exist yet. It would look something like a Seiko Arnie (the watch Schwarzenegger liked so much he named himself after it) only a bit smaller and with no digital display. It would have good specs, a bi-directional friction bezel for timing things, and a Solar Mecha-Quartz movement. And it would cost less than $195.
