Hello, I'm new to watch chrunch, I'm not really a watch collector, but I loved and wore watches since a little kid. I only have one "big" watch that you could call my graill watch. The Omega Seamaster Raillmaster Denim Blue. I wanted to buy something to celebrate finishing my degree and my first job. I'm a sucker for blue, I love de dial and how it changes in diferent lights. I wanted this to be a watch that I have for the rest of my life, I wanted it to be future proof, I think it's an timeless design. Being all brushed helps because it better hides scratches. Yes I baby it !! I love the look of the bracelet. In my eyes It could have some improvements, like applied indicies, an adjustable on the go bracelet, and I love de hipocampus on the back but I would prefer to see the movement. And for something like 2 years I found many many other watches that hadn't those "flaws", that were more affordable. But I kept coming to this no matter what. And that is how I knew that I loved this watch, because even with the flaws that I saw, even finding watches that hadn't none of those, I couldn't take It of my mind. Two years later I still love it I wear it everytime that I can, and there is still something about it that I love and can't place it.

The Railmaster is an exceptional watch which I would love to have as my main watch one day. I love the black dial. Though the blue is great and actually I love the silver one too.

Thanks, but the thing is, I was bitten by the bug a long long time ago. My first watch I remember having was a Casio Baby-G, when I was a little child Now I'm 26, the watch it's completely destroyed, I still have it, but don't wear it. About the beater I have a solar powered G-Shock that I really like.

While this is the One watch to rule them all for me, I already had other watches before buying this one, I have 3 Seiko 5, one from my grandpa one from my dad and one that I bought for myself but gave to my brother. Also have a G-Shock, my beater watch. The bug ... When I said "big" watch I was refering that it was the first time I spend that amount of money in a watch.
And while I love the Raillmaster and I would never sell it or something like that I am already thinking of another 2 watches I would like to buy 😂, a Doxa Sub 600T in blue (I like to got to the beach and also swim in the summer) and a Stowa Marine Classic 36mm with Roman Numerals (more dressy that can fit under winter clothes). But I don't want to spend to mutch money because I have other priorities right know and also want to associate those next purchases with something in my life. And waiting gives me time to reflect about them, maybe find other watches and leran about other brands that could change my mind.

They are all great and beautifull, I think they are a hidden gem in Omega's catalog
I love the Railmaster - I had one and it was a perfect everyday watch. Sold it and now I miss it.

Hadn't really thought of it before but yes it would be really awesome. Omega has so many variants to their models, they could actually do it.

I have the steel dial version, and completely agree. I actually would NOT change to applied indices or a display case back if those were options... I think the watch is configured just right for what it is. It has its own distinct personality.
