Tudor did it right!

I am in love, how about you?

I'd like it better if the tip of the seconds hand wasn't red, but besides that they totally nailed it.

·

I'm on board, now just to save and buy 👍

·

Yep! From the pictures I would say spot on and a sure fire hit. Explorer fans all over the globe should be happy.

Does the bracelet taper too much though?

·

I’m a woman and I would like to have one.

·

I am still weirded out by the 6 and 9. 🤔

·

Still mad about that crown, haha.

·

I'm on the waiting list already.

My wife will wear the Explorer and I will this one.

·

I would love it more if it were 36mm.

·

It is nice but far from exciting.  I would love it more if it said Longines on the dial and sold for half the price.

·

I like the brushed finish and the clasp is a pretty cool feature. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t really like the hour hand and i think the snowflake hour hand looks better…

ok, I’ll see myself out.

·

I like it a lot. I too could do without the red, but still, a great timepiece from Tudor and on my radar. 😎

The crown is fine.  I have a BB GMT and I’ve never had an issue getting a grip on it.

I agree that it's functionally fine, but I think the new one is a big improvement.

·

It looks good! I love it. 😍

·

It looks a bit odd to me because it seems like it should be smaller because of the retro styling but actually seems quite large... I know 39mm isn't large, but it looked large in every photo I've seen so far. I guess somewhat like the 39mm Explorer 1s.

Anybody thinking if that bracelet will fit the BB58's? 😂

I was thinking the same!!! I sure hope so haha

·

I am not sure about this lume... i own the bb58 in black and the watch is perfect excep  the slightly faux aged lume.

·

I don’t like it. It looks like all the explorer homages from wish or Ali express. The dial is to boring and the indices should be applied with standard lume and not this fake vintage one.

·

I like it a lot. I own the new 36mm Explorer I and will buy this piece some time soon.

·

Sorry for beeing negative on my first post, but for me this watch is 🥱🥱😴😴

·

I bet this is one that looks better in person, agree the photos are a bit boring.

I just got back from my AD to check it out on bracelet and on strap.  I thought the wonky numerals would be the deal breaker but in the metal, they are the second deal breaker.

The green colour of the numerals and markers are a definite turn off.  My AD assures me that out in the sunlight, the dial print looks more yellow than green.  I can’t imagine that being any better than green and declined the offer to take it outside for a look.

My conclusion while wearing the piece on my wrist was that it is everything I want in a watch, practically perfect in every way and priced right but the dial is a deal breaker.

If they make another variant with applied markers, white lume or a white dial, I would be all in as long as those 6 and 9 numerals are revised so they don’t look like they drawn with crayons by school children.

·

I am in! Already reached out to several ADs.

·

I’m in for sure.

·

that new bracelet on the Pro with T Fit clasps had me already, now just waiting for a white dail.

I was also concerned about that, but it is more a cream than fauxtina. It suits the mat dial well!

boringness is subjective. ;)

It is plain and even more plain than everything what you see on the market today, that makes it for me very interesting. It is completely brushed, even the bezel, the dial is mat and the numerals are also not shiny. Even the hands are not very reflective. So mute, so different.

so go and try it on :)

I contacted my AD to let me know when they get some in stock. This  watch ticks a lot of boxes for me as an upgrade to my current field watch. I do like to try on more expensive watches before purchasing, but am definitely targeting this one. Seems like a great field watch.

·

I tried this on at my AD recently. A few thoughts:

I didn’t feel like the dial had any personality. No quirks, nothing exciting, and almost looked cheap (for a mid tier brand). Also wasn’t a fan of the color used for the markers and indicies.

I also found the watch case and bracelet extremely sharp at the edge, specifically the lug tips and clasp. T-Fit was great to finally try out, but the bracelet itself felt cheap, even though it looked very robust.

However, for app my complaints, seeing the watch on the hybrid strap changed it. It was like a whole different watch, more fitting to be on a strap. If I were buying, I’d get it on bracelet and add the hybrid strap to wear 100% of the time.

I expect it looks better 'in the flesh'.
