Let the games begin...

Hmmm how high will it go?

As high as a few select fools will pay.

·

Those have come down a bit TBH.

Couple of days ago they were going for $2,200 - $4,200 basically the price for a real one almost.

·

The sharks are circling looking for the marks.

·

Yuck

·

A moonphase complication for complicated lunatics.

·

35.00 is about it for me.

·

Actually the problem is the people buying at these stupid prices. I went to queue to try my luck cos i wanted the watch and didn't manage to get one. But I would never pay these insane prices for it. Even at retail price it is already overpriced and a stretch for me to justify. If noone is willing to pay these crazy prices, the flippers would not bother, and those that queue to buy one would be able to get one.

·

Honestly, they're insanely overpriced at retail, let alone this...

·

Absolutely ridiculous...

🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

·

To the moon!

I was about to say, at that point just buy and actual speedmaster

Good Lord

Just scrolling through the Baltic v vario tournament thread..... Yeah I'll take one or two of those

·

Don’t feed the flippers.

·

Getting higher every minute

It looks so fun, but never over retail

These are not limited….

·

The top and bottom posts both sold for ‘best offer’ which means less than the asking price and the two in the middle haven’t sold. I do think people are overpaying for these in the secondary market I do not think it is happening on some large scale.

I think people are putting them online and putting crazy price tags on them but I’m not sure they are selling for those crazy prices. Are people paying more than they ‘should?’ Yeah probably. Are they paying $1000? I sort of doubt it.

The cycle continues. Swatch & friends will keep doing these until people stop being silly - and I say this as a guy who has a soft spot for throwaway plastic Swatch fun

·

for reference flipper charge around 750$ in my country. thats some cr*zy sh*t going on lol

·

I‘d pay exactly 0€ for it but I expect the „seller“ to buy me a coffee at the exchange.

That’s how much I value plastic landfill content. The coffee is just for my time, a recompensation, if you will…

·

Screw stocks! Let's all invest in these! 300% in a few days.

·

barking mad prices

·

Since when Omega retail on 500$? They missed 3, 4 or 5 to print in front? Or it is just the Swatch thing and nothing from Omega?

·

Not to mention the retail stores as well, the inevitable trend of crowds and long queues for that flippers advantage. 🤦🏻‍♂️

·

Well, if the game is stupid I don't play it

Green prices indicate sold listings.

·

So we’re just going to moan about this again, even though this is the third Swatch collab like this. Why does anyone think this was going to be any different? Is the collective memory that short?

It was pretty awesome to hear Paxton Wong telling the story last night of how he just randomly showed up at the Houston Swatch location and bought one. No drama, no inflated price, no special access.

Yeah that was funny. He just seems to have that x-factor.
