I feel like every collection needs a quartz beater that you can throw on in a rush when the other watches you want to wear aren’t set. What’s your favorite? Casio? Timex? Seiko? Digital? Analog?
I guess I am in upside down world. I have two mechanical watches for the rare occasion that I feel like setting a watch to wear for the day. Virtually my whole collection are "quartz beaters"😀
There are two quartz beaters that are my go-to watches: The Citizen Garrison BM08180-03E and the Casio Lineage LCW-M300D-1AJF. Both are inexpensive, solar, and have proven to be very reliable.
Looks really good on all, especially the brown leather, although I don't get the two horizontal stitches the strap manufacturers always like to place on both ends (picky picky).

Thanks! Couldn't agree with you more. There are various stitching styles, and that's just one of them. It's a more popular choice among buyers I guess, and may be easier to stitch.

Lil bit above ($295), but a Momentum Sea Quartz 30
is a nice, solid, fun option.

My beater is solar.
Either my Data Bank or my W-217H
My best beater is under £50. Casio Edifice.
Could practically sort casio's catalog by <$250, close your eyes, and pick something.

I know this is over $250 new,
but on eBay I got it for £180
Any uncoated digital Casio on a strap.
My Victorinox field with a resin case. I don't recall model - gift from wife several years ago.

But...every watch I own is under $100
Mine is a Swiss Army Original from the 1990s. Under $50 on eBay last I checked.
