New CW Chrono - has this been done yet?

I think someone jumped the gun on the social media trigger (intentionally?) but this is doing the rounds. Thoughts?

I had decided that the Zenith Chronomaster Original was going to be my next watch. Went to WoS and they didn't have the original white dial but they did have the Watches of Switzerland limited edition - which is still white dial but blue sub dials - tried it on and... nope, didn't fit my wrist at all and that was that for the whole range.

Awesome. Congratulations. Jealous... but in a positive way! 😉

@Max I'm calling Shenanigans - where's your Longines Legend Diver? (and I suspect many others) - great video though as ever.

I have two watch boxes - a 15 and a 12. Both are full (and a few more in a drawer 🙄). My goal for 2024 is to get to just the 15 box. But it's going to be hard.

I've just come back from the pub and was wearing my GS White Birch Hi-Beat. I thought about taking a photo because I too am "in love" but didn't because the real thing about GS dials is how they change - every different angle reveals a different dial - any photo can only capture a single moment, a single angle, a single dial. And this is why GS is my favourite brand.

It is gorgeous - however do try it on first as it is quite thick, even for a chrono - especially a manual one.

So I think this is the flip side of the same coin - you're reluctant to share your collection and @TheJoker007 is reluctant to share his. Net result is that we don't share. This is a watch enthusiast forum: not a high-end watch enthusiast collection nor a budget watch enthusiast forum. It's just watch people. I'm not being negative or accusatory, it's just that I like WC being a broad church and I like people sharing their enthusiasm and I like all watches and I'd like to think this is one of the few places where all watch people can share their enthusiasm.

Full disclosure context: I did my my first ever SOTC today (first ever anywhere) and I'm now feeling a bit bad that I did. I think it's a mid-level collection but I am worried that I may have contributed to a flex-vibe that was absolutely not intended.

YOU @Ichibunz shouldn't feel bad about sharing your collection here. YOU @TheJoker007 shouldn't feel bad about sharing your collection here. NONE OF US should feel bad about sharing our collection here.

Good intentions intended - Happy New Year all.

@TheJoker007 your post has upset me a bit. The majority of watch communities on the the web are quite toxic and flex-y. I always felt that what makes WatchCrunch different is that it wasn't either of those - and I still don't think it is, but maybe it sounds like you feel it is?

I would be extremely interested to see your collection.

Your car-show analogy is interesting and correct: show up at "flex" car show with something that isn't a hyper-mega-car and you'll feel bad. However, show up at a true enthusiast car show with whatever you want and people will want to talk about what you have and will understand and share your enthusiasm. True car enthusiasts are just as (more?) interested in a Fiat Panda 100HP than whatever latest limited edition Ferrari.

I like to think that WC is one of those shows.

PS - @Ichibunz I'd also love to see your collection even if you're getting bored of everyone else's.
