Sinn 356

This watch is the latest object of my desires. Before I do something I might regret (or enjoy) are there any owners on the crunch who can share their experience/feelings on it?

I came very close to pulling the trigger on this one!  But the thickness worries me 😅

Yeah that's my one real reservation right now too.

I have one that I wear in rotation. It originally came with a bracelet but I have replaced it with a Di-Modell Chronissimo strap. I would prefer it to be a couple mm thinner, but it doesn't bother me too much. The Sellita SW500 sure has a noisy rotor but you get used to it - I have even started to like it 😀

Here is a few pictures on my 7" wrist:

Here is a comparison to my Hanhart 417 ES 38mm - they should be almost the same size on paper but the 356 looks bigger:

Lovely. Thank you. Did you go hesalite or sapphire?

I went for the acrylic crystal but would probably choose sapphire if I used it as an every day watch 😀

I’ve already got a 556 and a 104 and am looking to add a 356 as soon as funds allow. I need to see one in person though as the thickness might be an issue on my slender wrist. Also the nearest Sinn AD is about 100 miles away.

I am a bit late to the party, but as I just (yesterday) tried on a 356 SA Flieger III, I can assure that the thickness is no problem at all, especially if you are wearing the watch on its metal bracelet. Usually, I do not like thick watches either but – to me – it did not feel thick at all, and I wear a Tissot Visodate 40 mm as daily. My wrist is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) and the size is perfect! Overall, I really enjoyed this watch, especially with the silver dial. Please excuse the poor quality of the image.
